One thing about me Mr. Grumpy, is that you'll never be able to tell if I'm being serious here or not. You'll never know if I've been playing along with you guys this whole time, and laughing at knowing you think you're playing me ;)

RedCupraboy, this :finger: is for you telling me I make stuff up. You don't know me, so don't tell me what I do and don't do.

Golf gti mk5 - on a corner, could try, but prolly not.

mazda mx-5 1.8 litre mk2 - on a corner, no, but on a straight, could try. I've driven one.

nissan sunny pulsar gti-r - could go on a corner, but on a stright, no way

Honest enough answers. Don't play with me. Or I'll zap you with my fire eyes and throw you into space, along with your red car.

Mil please, it's PROBABLY!

Who is winding who up here?

Welcome to the internet world of pedants, liars, buffoons, and non-Yorkshire people..........

My personal car is still faster ( and handles better ) than yours:cool:

My everyday mode of transport would blow you into the weeds..........:D

sorry 2.0 8v 115bhp doesn't do fast my gf has a new clio 1.5 dci 115bhp and the handling and torque of that would give you a good run.

your car maybe good safe handling, i can't say it is or isn't,

but face the facts it's SLOW!

Having had a go in one of these beasts, I can believe your car will outhandle a Mustang if you can corner faster than the GTI-R!

And goes to show you had not seen an ounce of humor in my post and are therefore looking solely for a way to pick on me.

Think all you like diesel-driver. Think all you like.

:thumbdwn: to you too.

How blind we can be - it took me until today to find this gem :D

Thank you people, you made my Sunday evening :)

(I took some 928s like a king on Friday - I feel proud)

My STANDARD Fabia VRS is faster than any NA 2.0 Fabia :P

Don't forget the power of Ultimate Deisel

and goodyear tyres

This thread just keeps getting better. Taken me 15mins to get back up to speed ;)

I think the main problem here is jealousy...... clearly everyone wishes they had a Fabia 2.0 (tuned by AMD with a hand made exhaust, falken tyres, some suspension and pimp tints) and were able to drive in the same manner as Mr. Milton Keynes.

Mil, you're a driving god.

No need to apologise, you are equally correct, Ive seen TaviaRs on track with his Diesel Octy, hes a good driver & the lap times reflect that, A car needs to be quick but the last 20% at least is always down to the nut behind the wheel

Nut behind the wheel? :grumpy: OI! I resemble that remark! :D

So, your Fabia would out handle my old VRS? LOL! Next you'll be telling me it would out handle my diesel

Round the corners?....

I think NOT.

Round the corners?....

My Octavia diesel is heavier than a Fabia, but I reckon I could outcorner you and out drag you. :haha:

Fancy a trip to Anglesey? Loser pays?

HTH.

You got one Tigger

It would be good to see N/A diesel vs N/A petrol. On paper it looks like the Fabia should wipe the floor with you, Jon, so that's a brave statement! ;) Next you'll be offering him a head start

Your octy has 70bhp?? I dont think you'd stand a chance.

Thirdtime, I would recommend you seek advice prior to accepting my offer.......

I don't like taking sweets off children, but if you are foolish enough to accept, I'll happily take your money :D

This Ive got to see

Thridtime, I would recommend you seek advice prior to accepting my offer.......

On how to spend his winnings?

Chris

Thirdtime, dont worry about his SDI. The man is all talk and no go - you'll win easily ;)

Take him up on the offer and show us all what a breat the 2.0 is.

If only I still had the airfield to play with :(

Thridtime' date=' I would recommend you seek advice prior to accepting my offer.......

I'm not up for going down to Anglesey. But feel free to come down here... Junction 6 off the m40

Then we will see...
