What a top motor the Cosworth Granada is, a friend of mine has just put a V6 from one in a serise 3 land rover. Absolulte rocket, considering.

Yeah, the cosworth V6 was really nice - ever so smooth compared with the standard ford lump. It had all the bells and whistles- inc electric rear seats with headphones

Sadly it was eventually stolen and trashed - was my dads favourite car of all time.

Yea it sounds like fun. My mate lives in south wales and I havent had chance to get down there since it has been finnished. I know he has had to cut some of the bulkhead to fit the exhaust manifolds, which he had to make himself. His is a 110, military if that make any diff to the engine bay space?

Apparently the hatches he has cut to fasten a nut on the manifolds, if you look through one of these when it is warm it is possible to see the exhaust gasses pulsing through the manifold!!! It also spits flames im told, which can be seen at night, probable due to rich mixture, due the the lack of lamda sensors etc.

My mams 1.5TD Nova... was a little rocket! Got me hooked on Diesels !

Think I might be showing my age but my first car was a Mk 1 Escort 1300E - In Metallic Purple! With factory go-faster stripes and a big bore exhaust. Was great for going sideways across pub car parks , until it got nicked after only 3 months of ownership....:( - never saw it again :( .
