Too many stories, all different Skoda european countries have speced the Ltd edition differently, my understanding is 7000 have been made with 1000 coming to the UK, Skoda Uk have chosen the options hence the fitting of limited edition numbers on the seats, do you think the 1000 original interiors ( seat covers) will be on e-bay soon.

Hmmm. Looks like the French have been short changed in the Seat department (see post 344) as they only have standard two-tone cloth seats.

Seat Surgeons, as far as I know, do not have the contract with Skoda UK for the leather seats for Fabias. they do though make very good leather covers (in any style/colour) at a sensible price.

Yeh, same here i would have bought the limited edition if it had Xenons or ESP or both, even it did cost abit extra. Would have been worth it though.

So instead i bought a black one.

Also I've heard that some of the cars which are after week 12 are being cancelled by Skoda.

I dont know if its all, but apparently some of them are not going to be built.

Just been in touch with my dealer. He said that he had a number of non sold orders cancelled by skoda, but mine being a sold order is safe and still on target for week 12/13. Also this free's up build slots, so it may arrive quicker.

Spoken to my dealer today about my order for the ltd..said that he has spoken to head office and that he has been told that they are waiting untill all 1000 are ready and letting them go all at once..he gave me a choice of 15 reg numbers and reakons it could be here by the end of next week:D lets hope.

interesting, because my dealer said they are only waiting until there are enough to supply at least 1 to every dealer.

And registration could only take place once they have a chassis number ot match it up to , and you can't get that until the order is actually placed.

The end of next week? thats a bit swift to get 1000 cars out all at once when they can't even order them til monday....

Well i have chosen my reg number so he must have the chasis numbers of the cars hes allocated,he reakons theres not many left to get ready,im only passing on what he said,if he wasent serious then how come ive got my reg number WU07 ***. its handy to have as i can arrange my insurance. only time will tell...

The info given by my Dealer is that the first batch of 300 are in the Uk and are all sold. The next batch (my one) should be avalible in approx May. The first 300 should be hitting the dealerships soon but apparantly Skoda are arranging that they are delivered at approx the same time so that there is none of the " how come they got one first" carry on.

All I have to do now is confirm my build spec.

I am going to go with the third rear headrest, heated seats and EDL

i am not that fussed about the Xenon headlights as i feel that the lights on my current VRS are bright enough.

But the big question is Sunroof or no sunroof?

Would like peoples thoughts on this one.

I really would wait.

But if you do go for the current model, GET Xenons, you will see the difference. Upgraded bulbs are nowhere near as good as Xenons, don't listen to people who say otherwise. They just regret not shelling out on Xenons in the first place.

No sunroof IMO.
