One of my friends has a 1.8t engined MK2 Golf, his is stripped and caged up, running an aftermarket ECU/Injection setup, he's currently running round the Nurburgring in consistent 8:40 laps, which to those who know, is bloody fast!

I'm after a MK2 Turbo too, but I'd never have the time/knowledge to build one myself, and there are so many **** conversions out there it's hard to find a good one, I'm not worried what it looks like (love the sleeper/shed look) just want to know it's built correctly!

If you decide to sell her, let me know!!

yellow?

Kermit Green?

:D

I have to say that is rather quite impressive - hats off to you.

ASBO Focus ST Orange, you know it makes sense!

I used to have a polo in kermit green, Think it was called green tenderance metalic. Lovely colour

Thats the one  I Recon that would suite the Mk2 with the contrast between the black archs and the green :D

it's not a bad colour, but at the same time it's just a bit...meh

That's beautiful. But also a little disturbing.

Its nice to be sure, I have thought about smoothing but running something in the region of 300bhp in there a filler lined bay is just going to crack.

Bit like the ASBO orange of the focus, but ASBO green instead..

a bit like this lambo :D

I actually really like the pug genesis blue metallic, it's fairly understated but looks good IMHO.

Looking good Ross.

Ahhh Techie, saw this post on AS earlier ;)

Looks like your doing a good job with that bud, I'm sure it'll be a beast after it's been in your capable hands.

With regards to the green Lambo, thats a really expensive way of kerbing your alloys!!

Theres a guy near me with a deep mettalic burgandy mk2 Golf, I dont think it's had anything interesting done to it, but even though it's starting to look superficially a bit shabby, the colour suits the car really very well.

Considering leaving a note on it asking if he wants to sell, then I just gotta find a 20v Turbo engine and someone to fit it!!

lovely project you got going on there what about a pearl white colour ;)

Championship White from Honda :D

Go for Race Blue.....
