Edit: Veekar - when I said engine mounts I did mean the one the engine bolts to, and the one the gearbox mounts to. I just call them both engine mounts.

I've read through all the posts again but can't understand fully how this helps traction, could someone please explain as that could be useful as I'm going to pod on the 22nd if one would be available before then it'd be idea. Also is it worth going into my overdraft for one .

Lastly how much is it all in, including postage?

It aids traction by reducing the amount of free movement in the drivetrain. Put more simply when you step heavily on the load pedal it will try to turn the wheels, the wheels will initially resist this change in motion causing the engine to twist within the allowance of the engine mounts.

The dogbone mount is one of those mounts.

What engine mount are you running jabba_luke?

Im running standard Engine and and gearbox mounts atm, with our Dog bone mount, it works a treat
