Sorry, my bad?!, I couldnt resist. I just found the post content so irritating and abstract from the "normal" posts on here.

This is what I mean by the nonsense.

A remapped Fabia will do 0-100 in 22-24 seconds. Top speed 128-130.

A standard ST will do 0-100 in 22-23 seconds. Top speed 129-130.

At what point throughout the whole race you've had with your 'friends' ST, makes it considerably slower? Now I'm entrieved.

It has no torque, out the corners I have quite a big advantage. Im talking real world too, not text book.

Why is friend in "? I was on the Briskoda Trax stand in it if you are doubting I have a friend with one....

Anyway....it's all a bit dull now, with all these figures from books.

It's funny.....most threads encourage normal and unbiased responses, and then something like this comes along and people go mental. Mostly people who no longer own Skoda's too who post the most negative comments. Not mentioning any names.....

I think its silly to compare them really. The Fiesta ST is too much of a different car to the vRS than to waste time debating it. Fair enough if we were talking Fabia vs a Fiesta ST diesel - but even then its comparing a 1.9 to a 1.6.

...Just be happy that you bought a vRS and love it for its other merits; unique stlying, economy, purchase price, value for money etc etc

All the 'correct' figures anyway.

Been through this already, if you could be bothered to read it, instead of acting a tit.

How many times, do you go on slating the CTR, When I'm not even in a thread, and still direct things at me? Saying you've driven one, your mate down the pub has one.. bla bla bla.

Woops, That's not directed at you, well... I'm not intenionally doing so anyway.

While we are here, what does "entrieved" mean exactly.

Only I was eager to learn the meaning of this new word, and having searched the whole of the internet, I found only one other instance of it in use.

£395 for a Custom Remap from Impossible Performance, will give you more accurate figures along the lines of 165-170, and a around 280 torque.

Don't be entrieved to go for the high figures, as I mentioned before, my car, remapped by Impossible Performance, could quite easily over-take a lighter car, same power and torque, which was remapped by Jabbasport.

Who, I think claimed he was around 185-190 at the time.

Came up in google that did.

Yawn Yawn Yawn.

A BMW 135i or even the 125D Coupe would blow these pretenders oot the water!

Oi Welshy!

Thats enough talk of them...

Apologies my spelling might not be fantastic. But that fact you searched for that just cracks me up .

That's not the only mistake though .... ;) (Where's that little bird gone now)

LOL. I knew it was only a matter of time before the self appointed 'post police' in charge of 'realism' returned to this thread.

Sorry, but you've posted on this thread countless times and your comments have been pretty much same old same old. Or am I just not reading it right?

Handbags anyone?

:D He knows I'm only winding him up....well, he should do by now.

I said in my other post that the vRS felt quicker because of the extra torque, but after driving an ST for 2 years and mapped vRS for a few months I know that the fabia is quicker in all situations besides a standing start where I can't get traction properly even in the dry

I've got a question for you snoopie would a Fiesta ST match a CTR going from 30-110??

The only reason i ask is, i was out earlier and i had a play with a CTR just to see how they put there power down so well and how it would blow me away:rolleyes: it was up my a#s# coming of a roundabout doing about 30 we both floored it and by the time we got to 110 he was only at the side of me:eek: Must of been a s##t driver:confused:;)

I cant see how a Fiesta ST would match a mighty Civic Type R:rolleyes::thumbup:

:) I was racing a Ferrari the other day in my Estelle. My steering started to shake a little at speeds higher than 168 MPH. Can anybody help?

I get the same thing when the Roomster approaches Warp. I have checked the Dilithium matrix and the inertial dampers but I am still none the wiser. It has been mentioned that the Isoliner control circuit needs rephasing but I checked it with Vag Com and it seemed ok.

:)You could well be right. I'll check that on the Estelle too I think before I drive it to the moon on Thursday. I might even adjust the kingpins and pump some grease into their nipples.

;)Are there any Little Chef's between Cambridgeshire and the moon?

....Excellent, what we need is some briskodian humour to lighten this otherwise terrible sequence of posts up.

Thanks again Dave and Decron of course, for the ever so slightly OTT startrek geek impression.

:D I was being deadly serious!;)

Now if you want a REALLY rapid car simply buy a Rapid Coupe!

You mean the central european equivalent to the Porsche 911?

:rolleyes:It's the other way round of course.

The 911 is the rich man's Rapid.
