Featured Replies

I won't be able to make this due to studies/exams for work. :( Making an exception for GTI International though.

Seeing as someone stupidly put me in charge of activities.........

what do you fancy - horse riding anyone?? It's awesome riding in the lakes, I took my old horsey Tiffany there a couple of years ago - one of the most fantastic experiences ever!!

Water related activities - canoeing etc

Thats very kind of you, are you making breakfast as well

Fantastic Bryan, will be great to see you again :)

sorry no horse riding for me im allergic to them unless they are cooked and served up on a plate.

Gotta do the "cars of the stars" place at Keswick , was there last year absolutely brilliant , only thing is they dont let you take photos :(

Can I have a list of people who are willing to do REAL activities?! it's the lakes ffs, you have to do horse riding and watersports, it's the law!!

Not everyone has to, it's all free rein at our camping meets, but I would definately like to do some stuff while we're there :) So an idea of interested parties would be good?...

The HCs will be up for some water activities.

I might even come out of canoeing retirement myself!

For those wanting something slightly less strenuous there is always The Pencil Museum

swmbo says she might get her leg over an 'oss, shes a bit rusty (at 'oss riding, not getting her leg over) and presumes the 'oss riding center will have the 'at etc.

I'm not good on on animals or water, be up for a trip to the pencil museum or just spectate, what about quad biking, sure that is at the same place as the horse riding as I have done that before.

Yeah hats are provided. Even boots apparently  but you can wear your own foot wear. Flat doled with small heel is best.

Pencil Museum Andy???

If your all serious about visiting the pencil museum I know the overall MD of the Cumberland Pencil outfit. I could enquire about some exras, or discounts.

I'd be up for some water sports and also I think someone else hs suggested it elsewhere....a wet tee shirt competition. And the winners shirt can be signed by all present and then auctioned off.

Pleeese can i judge the wet t shirt competition

wet t-shirt comp :rofl::rofl::rofl:

A sensible question....

Are dogs allowed ?

If I can come, I may have to bring Dave, as I don't want him to be left home alone for long periods, because he sulks.

the website says, well behaved pets are allowed......

The dog will be ok then, but I had better go to obedience classes....
