When is everyone planning on arriving then? Friday daytime? Friday evening? Sat morning? I'm notsure what my plan is yet, I'd like to go after work on the friday but really it all depends on whether anyone comes with me or who I end up following down lol. Just wondered so I could get an idea....

I've booked the Friday off so I'll be heading up on Friday, probably getting there around late Friday afternoon, early evening.

I'll be there with swmbo some time friday afternoon.

I have a meeting at work in the morning, but I'll want to get across the Thelwall viaduct as early as possible, so arriving sometime after 3:30.

I can't get the friday off, so if I go to work at 7am I can leave by half 2. Thing is I wont get there by myself

Loz all you have to do is tke the M55 to the M6 then head north. Leave the M6 at Jct 40 (Penrith) Then someone can meet you there and lead you in. Easy.

Just such a long way. I don't mind trips and that, but I'll get fed up driving for 2 hours on my own. I'm gonna see if Wayne can come with me, just depends on work and stuff. Also, I am gonna have to go after work, so will have to follow someone who's going at the same time

I think I could be on the M6 from Blackpool at about 3/ 3:30pm on the friday....

we going on the friday, leaving Oxford around 3/4pm (whenever i can drag swmbo out of work as ive booked it off). shouldnt take too long to get up to where blackpool joins m6 say 3 hours ish.

An idea ive had if loads of us are going up on the friday is walkie talkies and see if we can locate each other

Its about 20 min drive or so off the Motorway. Think its about 17 miles to Keswick from the Motorway but not sure how far the campsite is from Keswick.

Unless its pretty much a straight libe I will probably need a hand at that point.....

its a straight line... come off the m/way on the A66, turn off to keswick (at first keswick turn off about 17 miles later, its a slip road) then turn left at the end of the road... the camp site id about 2 miles down the road at the "dale bottom"
