  1. On brakes, what is standard depends on the engine tune. The TDi 90 and 110 use FS111 calipers and (at most) 280mm discs. To fit DS3 calipers to a car, any car, with FS111s needs new front uprights as well as discs, pads, calipers and caliper carriers. So the only diesel Furbie with DS3s as standard is the vRS, and even then you need to change the carriers to fir 320mm discs.
  2. Put it on YouTube, and deep link to here.
  3. - It does also look like a rear head head restraint out of an Octavia 1.
  4. @HappySkoda - Or, in plain language, YES! Well, that's your problem, since those data are totally discredited and anything from 10 to 30% better than real world driving achieves.
  5. Yellow or Red oil warning?
  6. Halfords sell BSI standard marked pencil gauges for about £5.
  7. No; you don't get limp mode until the sensor is FUBAR. I think you're still in the earlier stages of the failure. That said, I can't describe it any better.
  8. That's the change without all the preliminary waffle that repeats the present rules. I do have one question to add to yours though; How does anyone at all get 3 years category BE before 15 November 2024?
  9. Well no, not now. You could have when you made this post by selecting the ellipsis "..." top right of your post within an hour of making the post.
  10. Well, for sure that won't help. As for the throttle, IME this works, with maybe a slightly jerky pickup, or throws a CEL and puts the car into limp mode.
  11. That and you'll get a higher ground pressure, which reduces the chances of aquaplaning (aka hydroplaning) and cuts a bit deeper into fresh snow whilst reducing snowplough effect.
  12. At that rate, in Feb or Mar it will jump to 1_000 miles to go, and count down from there til the 366th day from the last service when it will change that indicator to saying "Service due".
  13. Search "Citroen Kegresse" then.
  14. I'll partially recant my last. The fault lies with whoever did that bodge job on the sensor wiring.
  15. If it's on a fixed service schedule, then it will "jump" to lower mileage to service sometime in March '22.
  16. Vredestein BV being themselves a wholly owned subsidiary of Apollo was not germane to my point that they make tyres and Camskill don't.
  17. If it's like every other car I've been in, the courtesy lights have an Off position as well as Door(s) Open, and On.
  18. Rear retractable armoured shield.
  19. No; I'm saying that the "ratings" are effectively meaningless (oh and AIUI Camskill are a retailer, not an importer or manufacturer). Vredestein are definitely a manufacturer, and Vredestein UK a wholly owned subsidiary company.
  20. NO!! Do not use snake oil additives.
  21. As if by magic, this article appeared. It won't tell you an actual number for your car, but I hope will tell you what the term means, and the effect of fitting different offset wheels, or spacers.
  22. Big hint - EU "tyre ratings" are self-certified by the tyre manufacturer (or importer), and the drive-by noise rating is outside the car.
  23. You don't need a Scalextric car, or even need fuel, to plan trips (back) to Scotland around a stop at Tebay North.
