  1. @goa200d What are the actual emissions figures, not just the numbers?
  2. Only example I even know of.
  3. @BlackEdDSG - Well, you could repaint it with genuine Lockheed "ironball" paint like on the SR-71...
  4. Rear wiper - No-one except Skoda makes exactly the right curvature for Skoda estate rear blades, and even Skoda don't offer the right part as a spare.
  5. Well, it's a reasonable guess for symptoms of fuel shortage.
  6. @conniebell - Actually, @Wino has raised a very important point. Is your car a PD? If so it will have a badge TDi on the boot.
  7. Ah that would explain it a bit; I tend to minimise the amount of steering I do at parking speed.
  8. That's Ok; my suggestion was to set up a backup system, not a mail server. See Backup for further information.
  9. If it's only making the noise in one gear, I'd think it's most likely that gear. The layshaft bearings will be common to 2 or 3 gears so you should get the noise in other gear(s) if it were them.
  10. No, I meant what I said, and have driven a Citroen Xantia back to back to back with a Vectra and an Octavia (the Vectra and Octavia on the same roads at that). The Vectra was light and feel-free to the point of feeling anaesthetised, which criticism I would not level at the other two.
  11. The rear roofline of the hatch is different to the estate, and the headliner is moulded, so not a chance.
  12. That's not impossible; I'd really want to see photos before commenting in a particular case though.
  13. @Sambcfc46 - Not sure, but I really don't understand why you didn't have the timing belt done when it was off anyway for the camshaft change.
  14. Water pump, since some "simply clever" 'sole made it do the job of both a water pump and a thermostat.
  15. The obvious answer to this is to set up, use, and check a multi-generation backup and archive system.
  16. Alternatively; to suck power back out of the batteries as quickly as possible.
  17. It's the same stud pattern and centre bore, but may be a different width and/or offset. The full dimensions of an OEM wheel will be cast (aluminium alloy) or stamped (mild steel) into the wheel.
  18. They're tweeters; listened to in isolation they're bound to sound shrill and tinny. Assuming you can adjust them like this, try setting more bass and/or less treble.
  19. Ask a local minicab firm if they can recommend a garage that does full DPFectomies.
  20. My first thought in this sort of position would be that maybe the exhaust is making contact with the bodywork.
  21. So what he's actually saying is that charging an EV incurs a 600Wh power loss?
