  1. Just out of interest, what brand of gasket did you use?
  2. You need the Fabia Mk2 forum.... https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/113-skoda-fabia-mk-ii/
  3. There's a couple on ebay.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-FABIA-CENTRE-DASH-STORAGE-TRAY-ZB-6Y0-858-332-/254419917795 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-FABIA-CENTRE-DASH-TRAY-SHELF-6Y0-858-332/282673819178?hash=item41d0ac2e2a:g:1T4AAOSwTqZZzhhJ
  4. Didn't need to remove mine but I got them to fit new valve stem seals.
  5. Yeah, there's always a few battle scars on an old car.
  6. Haha Mine used to be owned by an Asda worker, so it has a few trolley scratches from the car park. They are not too bad though.
  7. Looking closely at yours it definitely looks like the pivot is seized as the end of the bowden cable is loose instead of being against the spring loaded lever which looks stuck back.....
  8. Anogther guy on here had the same problem and it was a seized pivot on the latch....
  9. This is usually a symptom of the common broken alternator wires at the plug connectors underneath near the gearbox. The blue wire is the exciter wire that is responsible for the ignition light and correct alternator start-up. Have a look to see if any of the four wires are broken. Looks something like this....
  10. You could try messaging Tech1e who used to be a Skoda Master Technician and knows all about cruise control as he used to retrofit them. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/profile/4839-tech1e/
  11. The code suggests front lambda sensor fault.
  12. Something like this as previously suggested might be a better solution if they fit on.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clamp-Collar-Double-Split-3mm-To-130mm-Shaft-Collar-Clamp-Type-Collars/302160614643?hash=item465a2d14f3:g:HoYAAOSww3tY40ne
  13. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wire-Rope-Grips-Clamps-U-Bolts-Fitting-Cable-Cord-Tie-Heavy-Duty-Steel-Metal/142604618575?hash=item2133e5cb4f:g:dK4AAOSwzXxaHdrb Not sure whether there is enough room to get them on the bar though. It's also not ideal because it's not a nice round flat surface.
  14. Tightening order.... Tappet settings (they are hydraulic but have an initial setting procedure)....
  15. Yeah, and washers under certain bolts.

  17. Only his car is a 1.4 mpi so none of that is relevant. You don't need to replace the head bolts on this engine but if you really want to you can get them on ebay.
