EPC showing on control panel of a Skoda Fabia.
Firstly, check to see if your brake lights are working as the EPC light can come on due to a faulty brake light switch or bulbs.

I don't believe it. It must be storing something up to spring a nasty surprise on you

Clip location
Pull the lid of your little cubby box fully open so it hangs down and have a look at the 'roof' of it to see if a spring clip is missing. I believe the item in your pic is one of the two spring clips which latches the lid closed.

I used to drive a W-reg turbo diesel MK1 Focus Ghia quite regularly as I looked after it for the owner. I loved how plush it was inside.

Best option for OEM suspension?

Even in standard form I find the ride to be pretty poor (firm). Seems to be the way with most cars these days, especially ones of German origin.- What's seeing off all the Fabias?
A lot of people don't have the skills, interest or time to keep old cars going. And of course, they have to keep up with the Joneses who have a shiny new white-goods pile of pap on the drive.- Interior door release
If the little bowden cable going to the exterior handle is adjusted too tight it won't work properly.- More handbrake issues
Cables for rear drums are shorter (1585 Vs 1645), so if they'd given you one of those by mistake it would be shorter rather than longer. I believe you can buy the alloy guide tubes but can't see them on that catalogue. I wonder if the reason might be that they come complete with genuine Skoda cables, therefore are not listed separately? Examples of the tubes on ebay..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html- More handbrake issues
There are three slightly different part numbers but they all appear to be the same length & are the same for both sides.... +- Forgive me father, for I have sinned... Hocus Pocus

You told me its name ages ago and it still makes me laugh- CV joints
What I do is pull the arch liner out a bit and view the reservoir level with a torch.- CV joints
Yes, your code is 1N2 so you need Febi 21700 gaiters.- Drivers door not locking
^ Ah, cheers, Pete.- Drivers door not locking
^ I don't get this. Where does this gasket go? I've never seen one on mine?- CV joints
The small clips are factory, I didn't replace them. They are reuseable spring clips, you just squeeze them with pliers.- CV joints
Access to get the inner clips on is very tight, so in my case I used Halfords 32-50mm stainless steel hose clips...- CV joints
Further to our private message about Febi gaiters, there are two sizes depending on production number, which you can find on the label in the service book or under the boot carpet. Skoda production number 1N2 = Febi 21700 Skoda production number 1N5 = Febi 38622- Forgive me father, for I have sinned... Hocus Pocus
Ryan, petrol goes stale after it's been standing a long time & can cause non-start.- Forgive me father, for I have sinned... Hocus Pocus
Yeah, same on my Escort Zetec.- Skoda Fabia Combi, 1.4 16V 55kw. Trouble getting oil pan seal to hold.
