1. Yes, i have changed he factory bulb plus added extra Led light in my Felicia and that's the way to test them if they close properly (otherwise will drain my battery at night) Gently lay down the 5th door and when touches the latch you (barely) see the light turn off, then you are sure and push the door down firmly.
2. The alternator cover is the first thing that you scratch if you lowered the suspension even for 3mm in bad roads. It was too low for the roads i was on at the time and one day i hit it in a puddle. My first visit to a workshop was for this and i paid 1000 drachmas for a new hole few mm higher, new screw and plastic housing. Alex here in Greece. I have seen the certification on the local Skoda mechanic which was beside the local Skoda dealer.
3. As for the Bilstein Black we say here ''are for taxi drivers" because they are for normal use in city. Then Sachs with Kilen coils which are a little bit better. Better options are the Kayaba and Monroe with Apex or MAD coils. If you want some Sport you can go to Koni Orange and Yellow with Eibach coils but keep in mind that the Yellow are stiff.
4. No problem, we answer in older topics because «Verba volant, scripta manent» and via google search anyone can get help in his problem. What spark plugs do you use now? Did you clean the MAP sensor with a specific spray for this task? Your wheel bearings are OK? Did the hoses from filter to throttle have a small gap? The throttle itself is cleaned with a specific spray for this task? The diagnostic test isn't an insurance that will find every problem.
5. Has anyone used synthetic oil as Amsoil 10W-40 in his Felicia? I change mine every 7000 Km,in the beginning i was changing them at 5000 Km but my technician said ''that is too early".
6. No LPG my friend My technician says ever 2 change of oils which means 7.500 x 2 = 15.000 Km, many times i have asked him to make it earlier but insists ''no need to".
7. I already have the FILTRON K1048 installed but i don't thing is enough I would like to have a better filter like this: https://a.allegroimg.com/s1024/0c4aac/e19a649d445e87c9c5c94b17c484 It's the K 1100, i envy this guy: http://www.motofan.pl/tutorials/jak-zamontowac-filtr-kabinowy-w-skoda-felicia but i don't know if this modification can be done.
8. My concern was the ''Every 12 months, regardless of mileage" that Haynes wrote so i asked here to see what other Felicia owners do.
9. Yes i have but it's not look like the above photo here is my engine bay:
10. I don't think that Koni ever had a model for Felicia, even the Orange had to be modified a little bit. Eibach 3mm plus Koni Yellow i think is a very ''stiff'' combination for an every day driver especially if the road isn't in very good condition.
11. I have the FILTRON K1048 but i can not say that i am happy because it's doesn't does not fit properly. I added a metal screen to stop for example leafs getting into the system but i want to make a modification. I have seen the 1.6 plastic cover with much better filter inside. As i have seen it here https://www.drive2.ru/l/5960773/ but i have a question: my filter case on the right side has the Bosch motor 0390721002 attached, can i make a modification so i will have a much better cabin filter than the foam? Does anyone have done something similar? or someone has an idea how to a apply a better quality cabin filter inside the factory case?
12. I had a console like this, was a ''universal" one and i manage to fit it by myself. I use it for few days in the city and one time in a travel but i wasn't happy,i had a problem,my elbow every time i was putting the R gear was hitting a little bit on that console so one day i was very nervous and i gave it to a friend of mine.
13. I said it but due to a double post-edit that phrase was lost. Not that has been clarified i am asking you straight: Do you make valve adjustment ''Every 12 months, regardless of mileage" of ''after 15000 Km" no matter the time? I do it every 2,5 years or so (7500 Km i change oil plus filter) and i want to know what other Felicia 1.3 owners do. I can not make it more clear than this.
14. I read and comment having in my mind that, Yoss can make the correction. You are not some kind of ''God" which has the right to judge anyone, you are just a common mortal guy. As for your suggestion a have an answer "Go and fetch me a banana" and now we have a draw.
15. Obviously you didn't get my point, i didn't post for the conversion of miles to Km but for that:
Haynes Manual wrote about checking and adjusting the valves ''Every 12 months, regardless of mileage" Does anyone Felicia owner here does it annually?
Everything i post has a meaning for me and it's done in purpose.
16. Since the thread is not Locked we can freely post here without asking for permission.
17. 8030 days ago Haynes Manual wrote about checking and adjusting the valves ''Every 12 months, regardless of mileage" but in Greece nobody does this. Does anyone Felicia owner here does it annually?
18. In Felicia the engine is not 100% VW ,except the metal even some other things as sensors-button starter are CZ.
19. After a short and uhhappy "travel" with NGK i returned back to the old-reliable-beloved Platinum Champion RC89PYC.
20. Eibach 3mm lowering springs, i had them on for years. Some shock absorbers can work together with those springs, others do not. Koni Yellow out of production? I think not.
21. Eibach springs are for 3mm lowering, they work good with Red Koni but with Yellow the car will be very stiff and you may need new tooth fillings. Lowering the car means you have to be extremely careful when you are trying to "climb" on the sidewalk or entering-exiting a garage.
22. Keep in mind that may say to you that you will need a new pulley too.
