  1. It's not the question of connectors, it's a question if your unit supports it... unit modle number?
  2. You can make the update while driving or with engine running.
  3. Then I believe everything is OK and you should not expect any issues.
  4. One more check - entern each of them and check if VIN indicated there is equal with the one of your car. if yes then 99% your cods are official and you can proceed.
  5. When unit is connected to the Internet updates are automatically downloaded and installed.
  6. Either OTA (Over The Air) or contact your Skoda dealer.
  7. Go to Service Menu (long press MENU button) then FEC/SWaP codes then Installed Codes. Paste the list of codes and your VIN here. Check if every code has your VIN inside.
  8. I don't have any firmware for your unit 😞
  9. If these are official codes - no. The risk is only for hacked units with non-officially installed codes.
  10. No update available for your unit.
  11. I should be able to have it repaired but you must deliver it to me to Poland.
  12. Bolero MIB2 MY18. You can send it to me to Poland for repair, if repair is not possible or BER I can deliver identical unit in Plug&Play version. Pls contact me on PM if you are interested.
  13. @Nicholson do you know model number? Like 5Q0035819B? If not pls post VIN via PM.
  14. You must have the unit open and connected to PC via UART
  15. Unfortunately this unit, as well as 5Q0035819, supports MirrorLink only. To have SmartLink enabled you must have the unit exchanged - if you are interested pls contact me on PM. All others pls check your PM.
  16. Nope, this is the individual code that includes not only coding that matches your car options but also some numbers form your VIN, not straight but encoded in some way. Generally speaking it should NOT happen as coding is cleared only in case ABS module or instruments cluster is replaced. Do you have any backup from tools like VCDS, Vag Can Pro, OBD Eleven?
  17. Nice amount... post VIN over PM and I will check your system
  18. This requires unit to be hacked so I cannot help you 😞
