  1. Considering the water pump on 1.4 , 1.5 TSI engines is not driven by the cam belt and is on the other end of the engine there is absolutely no reason to change it unnecessarily when replacing cam belt.
  2. When you say you’re using sports mode is this DSG sport mode by pulling back on gear selector, or are you changing driving mode to sport?
  3. Perfectly normal in the circumstances you discribed.
  4. I’ve used a set of 17” wheels with 215x65 winter tyres on my previous Kodiaq and will be fitting to my new Kodiaq in a few weeks.
  5. A click when turning wheel with indicator on sounds normal for any car I’ve had with self cancelling indicators.
  6. The speedo won’t” be out” fitting 17” wheels with the correct tyres. As you can see the overall diameter/ circumference difference is negligible.
  7. As above switch the autohold on and leave on , then at traffic lights etc you can leave in D and no need to faff about with ehb etc. Using the B setting using regenerative braking when lifting off or leaving in D mode and coasting when lifting off is something to get used to and choosing what suits you’re driving.
  8. Interior lights coming on when doors open turned off?
  9. 17” winter wheels certainly fitted over the 340mm front discs on my previous Kodiaq.
  10. Just wondered as my Kodiaq has the direct TPMS , thought latest Octavia might have as well.
  11. Does the latest Octavia have direct TPMS? You might need to factor in, 4 tyre pressure sensors as well.
  12. As above set ac on, select auto and select a temp you like , mine is 20° and leave it to do it’s thing 24/7 365.
  13. +1 My 2010 and 2013 Yetis both had the simultaneous mirror adjustment option that could be turned off.
  14. I would drive and enjoy your new purchase when you get it and wait and see if you really need a tuning box/ remap. Ive recently changed from a 2.0 Tsi 180 4x4 Kodiaq to a 1.5 tsi 150 and can honestly say I’m not missing the extra 30hp but in current circumstances I am enjoying the extra mpg.
  15. ^^^ Interesting, is the speedo in Kph?
  16. It’s in the owners manual also..
  17. Haven’t tried having the sat nav as default start up screen, but I have the Home Screen with 2/3 of the screen maps and radio and Apple car play as the other 2 widgets. Similar to image below ( sorry only one I could find)
  18. Should have asked for them to demonstrate a showroom/ forecourt Kodiaq tailgate that beeps when fully open if it’s normal.
  19. I don’t recall it being possible using VCDS. You can fold in the mirrors using a long press of the lock button on the remote.
  20. Brochure implies Android is wired only.
  21. Personally I would always put the space saver on the rear.
  22. Had this on my Kodiaq, turning off the wiper operating when reverse option stops the random operations of the rear wiper. Just means you have to manually flick the rear wiper when required and if required when reversing.
  23. Yes that’s the correct connection for -ve lead from charger. Photo shows you have a EFB battery not AGM.
