  1. Yes that’s the correct connection for -ve lead from charger. Photo shows you have a EFB battery not AGM.
  2. I had the Skoda full size reversible boot mat in my previous Kodiaq which was great as you could flip to rubber side when carrying any thing wet or damp. The Velcro load dividers stuck to the carpet side, ideal for stopping items rolling around. The only downfall was if you did require the use of 7 seats you had to remove the mat an leave it somewhere. I got a double sided boot mat with my new Kodiaq, and it great that it folds up, but the Velcro load dividers don’t stick to the carpet side. I have seen that Skoda now have an updated version that looks like it clips to the headrests , has holes for the tabs to pull up the 3rd row seats, but still wonder if the Velcro boot dividers stick as I really liked them, and actually had bought another two as they were really that handy and miffed I can’t use them with current mat.
  3. The lack of towing weight on the data plate unless the car has a factory fit towbar or towbar prep has been in the small print in the Kodiaq brochures for a while. Dealer should not be informing buyers that you can fit a towbar at a latter date when legally you can’t.

  5. One you’ve set the personal data protection level as per owners manual , you won’t get messages
  6. Was the replacement battery the correct type and coded to the vehicle.
  7. Assuming from your photo, as you haven’t given a location, that your yeti is LHD. You would need to consult your manual for fuse 6 ( rear wiper) location , as the diagram above is for RHD.
  8. Just been out and tried mine and it is exactly as described. Pull out red locking tab, push central button and pull out connector.
  9. Haven’t tried it , but it looks like you pull out the red locking catch, then push down on the central black button and pull out connector.
  10. Yup, recline the seats and you won’t have a large gap.
  11. As above, one of the guides from the yeti guide section….
  12. Totally agree with Yogi, I recently changed from a Kodiaq 2.0 tsi SEL to a facelift 1.5 tsi Sportline Kodiaq . The facelift and Sportline trim has some nice upgrades compared to the old SEL and as said feels a completely different car. I also had two Yetis. At the time I was due a change I couldn’t find anything comparable to change the first Yeti for so bought another. Only reason I moved up to the Kodiaq was I needed more room for the expanding grandchild collection
  13. He had a car, same in at his work today. Needless to say he wants these mats for Christmas . Drivers side and passenger side
  14. Skoda Connect is free for the first year, after which you need to pay. I believe current cost is 49 euro for Infotainment online, and 39 euro for Care Connect-remote access pack. The SkodaConnect proactive service ( SOS etc) last for 10 years from new.
  15. Standard 260hp is pretty rapid .
  16. Plenty of SAAB spares still available, my son works in a SAAB specialist garage keeping plenty of SAAB’s on the road. He currently has a 9-5 2.3 Turbo Edition estate.
  17. Possible to have large digital display as shown by using VCDS, Carista or OBD11.
  18. As said won’t have remote action, but would show car is locked, windows closed and lights off, would save you a walk back to check
  19. The Edition model has leather seats, whereas the SEL would have alcantara . It would also have 19” Triglav alloy wheels, and silver roof rails. I believe the edition was a UK only model, and it was common to have them named as the European model it was based on ie Style.
  20. Presume the Karoq is the same as the Kodiaq and you can turn the preview screen on the side off and have camera view full screen with moving guide lines.
  21. Only problems with water pumps I’ve read about on here are mainly diesels , and the odd 2.0 TSI petrol with the pump driven by the cam belt. I believe the water pump on the 1.5 TSI is a completely separate unit on the opposite end of the engine from the cam belt.
  22. The general consensus, and I would always fit a space saver to the rear and put the full sized rear removed onto the front.
  23. Can’t say sneaky, quite clear from brochure what is standard.
  24. You could just fold the mirrors in using the switch on drivers door, and they won’t unfold when unlocking.
  25. Can only presume key fob was in your pocket and something pressed the boot open button.
