Fabia mk1 rear tailgate
@Alasdair1 On my Octavia, there is a 'tick option' in the infotainment settings for unlocking all doors - or just drivers door (haven't checked on SWMBOs Fabia) Have you checked that?

2015 VRS TDI - Coolant loss from expansion tank
Are you able to read live temperature data when it dumps the coolant?

Hopefully it will be the circ pump.

2015 VRS TDI - Coolant loss from expansion tank
Did you use a new pressure cap when you replaced the expansion vessel? - Ignore, I should have gone to specsavers! - I see you did.

Coolant issues
@Tankessex Did a vacuum refill on the coolant system resolve your problem?

Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L. - auto locking question
AFAIK, auto relock only operates if the vehicle is unlocked, then left for more than approx. 35 seconds without any door being opened.

Loose bolts on camshaft pulley - Just a heads up
No you misunderstand me, Skoda UK appear to be now stating that the cambelt should not have had work done on it, since it left the factory, that may be the cause of the cam sprocket bolts becoming loose - yet only 2 years ago, they were mandating 5-year replacements! I believe that current cambelt life is now stated as 'life' or at least 120K miles.

Skoda Kodiak 4 and 2 wheel drive difference in specs?
OK, so you can tow up to 2000kg braked trailer provided your rear axle weight does not exceed 1340kg.

Key not found
If your meter has a 3 volt (or higher) battery test function, this applies a small load on the cell while showing the available voltage (unloaded cell voltages are not particularly useful)

Burnt out clutch
Thanks for the reply. Did your independent report include any pictures? Was there any mention of the clutch diaphragm at all? The diaphragm supplies the clamping-pressure for the clutch linings - for sudden clutch failure as you described for at least the second failure, diaphragm failure would be a strong suspect. Did the second clutch first start slipping immediately after changing up a gear?

I've seen quite a few reports of 'new' button-cell battery being faulty, are you able to load-test with a meter?

Have you tried replacing the fob battery?

Fuel usage
Binding brakes could be the problem - how much hotter is the 'warm' one to the opposite side? Another possibility is failing DPF regens, that can seriously affect fuel consumption and cause a burning smell.

Odd that you are unable to find the load plate! The tow weights should also be shown on the Irish version of the V5C document.

Please move selector lever to position P
There is a fairly common issue with the park selector microswitch going faulty on some models - I believe there is even a repair kit for it.

Battery running down over a few days despite replacement
@andrewclark55 Have you resolved this problem with battery discharge?

Multiple electrical issues and other issues
AGM Smart charger should be running above 14VDC on a discharged battery, as should the alternator - even though the new battery has not yet been adapted into the vehicles BCM. Because you are seeing low charging voltages for both the charger and the alternator, I suspect your new battery may have a high internal resistance fault - or possibly a bad chassis earth connection. For the coolant loss, check the EGR valve and have the coolant tested for combustion products.

Warning light for non-functioning light bulbs
Welcome to the forum. Check that the lamps are the correct, matching wattage and double-check that all contacts for the lamp still indicating a fault are absolutely clean. To clarify, lamp monitoring systems normally use fairly tight current parameters - even a slightly increased resistance in the circuit may cause the monitoring system to flag a lamp failure - even though the affected lamp appears to be operating correctly.

Octavia 2 Dsg not changing gear.
Odd that there weren't codes for the failing ABS sensor, thanks for the fix notice.

Skoda Felicia rear light, I saw something strange
Warrior193 replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda Forman^^^ because the locating pins on the side of the lamp base are offset - it should not be possible to fit in incorrect orientation without forcing (and damaging) the lampholder.
