  1. before doing anything.........you need to make sure pump is running (hear it) when the stalk is pressed, then remove the pipe at the wiper and see what and if anything comes out, then that will tell you "if" the nozzle is blocked OR water is not even getting that far.
  2. I dont know what "tool" that is, but I doubt it will do what you need, you ideally want VCDS or Skoda to do it, not even sure "if" a dealer would change the world spec of a vehicle or not.
  3. if you have a maxidot dash, then you need to login with a diagnostic tool and set the vehicle to "ROW" rest of world setting and turn "OFF" Alt speed display, you will then have a large digi display in the dash to select.
  4. runs down the Nearside under the sill trim I think then up over the rear wheel arch and up to the boot, common for the Mk1 to come apart there and fill the rear foot well.
  5. agreed......on both counts.............should be wearing an overall to protect your own clothes and your employer should be suppyling or re-imbursing if you pay for them. and ref side air bags and covers Any seat or protective covers which you fit to the driver or front passenger seats must only be of the type expressly authorized by ŠKODA. In view of the fact that the airbag inflates out of the backrest of the seat, use of non-approved seat or protective covers would considerably impair the protective function of the side airbag.
  6. Look nice from the side, but far to wide imo................be constantly throwing sh..ite up the side of the car..
  7. the earth is just connected / spliced in with loads of others into the engine harness, It is "odd" that acceleration causes it..................Im assuming the wiring / plug is not under tension and is potentially "pulled" tighter as the engine twists rearwards when you accelerate hard.
  8. The overall size / rolling diameter of the spare is not to far off so should pose no issues using it............. but you have a + 3% diff between front and rear now......as already asked, Why ???
  9. I would of thought that a dodgy solder joint would give a "non" reading then a reading.....as opposed to a fluctuation in readings ?
  10. you need your PR codes to ensure you get the correct parts as there is quite a lot of options and these would be geunine parts, is that what you want ? Out of interest, why not let the garage doing the work supply them, they would have (or should have) access to motor factors etc etc Or try here https://www.eurocarparts.com/brake-discs
  11. Out of interest, did you fit a genuine part for the sensor, or I hate to say it was it a cheap pattern part ?
  12. tried to find it in the manual, no luck yet, def looks like M6 x approx 15mm to me. EDIT found it...... Part number is N 10170302 It is M6 x 10mm
  13. Yes you would have to drill, but I think the inner surface of the bumper is marked for the locations of the sensors................ and it is only plastic so pretty simple to do (as long as you can use a drill offcourse) the parking system is pretty much a self contained install, to get the camera working you need a new headunit / screen etc as well as camera install. Genuine parking accessory kit here as example.......(NOTE :- audio only NO visual on Radio as with Factory fitted kits) https://www.deutsche-parts.co.uk/park-assist-kit-bea710001-new-genuine-Škoda-part.html and "same" kit / seller on Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174268263327 regarding rear camera, you would need a "kit" like this.......... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184348685006?epid=2052230309&hash=item2aec09b2ce:g:dC8AAOSwX~Fe~KG2 + Camera that fits Fabia and then a Headunit like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303364001140?hash=item46a1e74d74:g:jXMAAOSwHwRdzpfL
  14. Fairenough...................... would parking sensors not be a cheaper / easier option ? I suppose it really depends on what "headunit" you have in the car. What year / spec is your Fabia ?
  15. As much as I do like gadgets..............a reverse cam on a small hatchback.........
  16. not seen them clocks in a Fabia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac4yI96oqZ0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqgHBBpiL8Y
  17. The spec your looking for is Elegance, but even then they can vary as there was a lot of cost options. You don't say what the budget is..............but as example this has climate, sunroof (rare) MSFW, parking sensors and manual box..............not sure if you want an estate, nice car this "imo".... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224491995422?hash=item3444c4011e:g:W84AAOSw5JNgwT3D Diesel hatch............no MSFW but cruise, parking and climate.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124712594900?hash=item1d09732dd4:g:cawAAOSwO7FglN5M
  18. Why would you want the one visual thing that alerts other drivers to your prescence and your actions in low light conditions................dimmer............ Tint windows with window tint film.
  19. yes , thats a standard charger lead you "should" have got with your new phone............should be no need to buy anything.
  20. parts here..............looks same for both hatch and estate to me to. http://www.oemepc.com/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/FAB/year/2011/drive_standart/697/hg_ug/945/subcategory/945000/part_id/2552138/lang/e#sec_1
  21. for what car ? You posted in Fabia but also have roomster in your profile.........
  22. What make of tyres are they ? My Fabia seems to be feathering the inside of the rears, they need changing anyway and after a lot of internet searching seem its common to many VAG group cars and no real apparent fix, read it on Seat leons, golfs, octavias, A3's.....it seems it's just the way the rear suspension is set up.
  23. What are the current symptoms ? What was "you" doing OR what has been done to the car ?
