  1. the front bumper is fixed down the sides in the wheel arches with screws and then clips onto the wings with special brackets. If you caught it underneath, it may just be trim plugs that you need, the monte carlo is a special edition so it wont be "broken down" in the manual. not sure what fixings you would need to be fair without seeing what it looks like now.
  2. I ordered a part from Latvia, was with me within a working week. Pricey, but another one here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284342644837
  3. simple, fit to existing screws / fixings.
  4. I agree, mudlfaps should be law as on trucks.
  5. what is OEM+ then ? enlighten me.....
  6. def not £50 buddy https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402419852706?fits=Model%3AFabia&hash=item5db217a5a2:g:BYUAAOSwJ0tfV1SC
  7. gotta laugh at the text in the add "gives you that smooth (yes), clean (yes) OEM look" ????? WTF no OEM deletes wipers.
  8. sadly one of those links using photocrapit which disappears and is useless................but in fairness not bothered about seeing the images.
  9. I know your not fighting the case ah ha !!! de-wipering the rear..........................mmmmmmmmmmmm on a hatchback that naturally gets dirty / quickly and easily because of the design and aerodynamics.........so we take the wiper off and therefore we cannot clear the screen...........brilliant!!!!! must be well handy when reversing !!!....................all in the pursuit of styling..........to me its looks poorly styled coz somink is missing !!
  10. what is that showing me ??? I doubt the drag decrease is that measurable, probably is in a wind tunnel, but out on the track.................naaaa.
  11. still points to sensor for me, could just be a sign its on it's way out.................although also worth checking there is no play in the wheel bearing either. Offcourse you could also spend time "ringing out" all the wires etc etc, but still may be a sensor, and for the relatively small outlay I would be tempted to fit a new one (genuine) and see how it goes. All depends on time / budget etc.
  12. never understood the single wiper thing....................infact I think it's just plain stupid........ lets remove more area of a clean screen when raining............madness !!!
  13. The BCM will need coding, Ideally from your old one... But you could go through the systems and check what you do and dont have etc, but you will need VCDS or similar to do this.
  14. Hello, The clues are in the wiring diagram you have posted, I have edited your diagram............. look at the * .....in the key it then says "see current flow diagram engine" and then you also need to look for the connection "B441" on the engine diagram where it connects to the main harness, this will then follow onto where it connects to the engine ECU...........In this case connector T94a PIN 59 (white wire) I have attached the relevant one. It would be easier "imo" if they just added the pin and connector number on the first diagram, but thats to easy I suppose !!
  15. when I fitted the genuine cruise kit, the loom to the switch / column goes through the main loom plastic housing in the firewall / bulkhead, you have to drill a hole obviously, but far better to drill and grommet in the plastic "imo". If you look at my attached images you can see below where it tells you to drill, you can access / just see / feel this from under the pedals. I used a right angle adapter to drill the hole.
  16. I would suggest its near the turbo this may help in confirming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXD9EUBhfuI
  17. diff part numbers, so I would assume no
  18. fairplay for the negotiations and I undertsand your point ref cost V aliexpress, unfortunately I....as have many others around the world I'm sure been burnt by chinesium quality and I just don't buy into cheapness. PS just looked at ALi, personally I don't like they way they mount to be honest, the Soki ones are far better "imo" https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001759559140.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.70d223e38p5Brj&algo_pvid=bb4461b4-6566-4d1d-83ea-f7e73bc1e76a&algo_exp_id=bb4461b4-6566-4d1d-83ea-f7e73bc1e76a-1

  20. if its the PD engine as in Mk1 vRS (not sure if it is)......then it should be fine for 130 +
  21. def don't think its the one near the oil filter, thats a 2 pin connector for a start. The picture of yours I edited with the red circle, is the same area as the workshop manual I pictured and in the same area as your top image.
  22. im wondering why you need to replace it ??
  23. do you have 2 remote fobs ? If so lock it with the remote you DON'T normally use and see what happens................As I menetioned could be a sticky button on the fob itself ??
  24. It's about time Londoners all got together and told Mr Khan to go **** himself regarding the stealth tax of ULEZ..................biggest load of rubbish ever................several other cities now doing or about to do the same.
