  1. @ApertureSGutted. Are they going to re-do it?
  2. I've covered about 450 miles since replacing the rear discs and pads. So far so good. The black coating looks so much nicer than the previous rust!
  3. I recently swapped my standard rear discs and pads to EBC greenstuff pads and EBC discs. My originals had only 25k miles on them but the pads were nearly worn through and the discs looked horrendous (like they all seem to). I've only covered around 80 miles since replacing them but so far they're excellent. The caliper carrier bolts were not the best fun to remove! The lack of space on my 272 involved a few swear words on my part 😂
  4. I personally use these from AliExpress https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32810478016.html?spm=a2g0n.orderlist-amp.item.32810478016&aff_trace_key=&aff_platform=msite&m_page_id=8654amp-FuLmfpLNiosyA_KRQWSwdw1634888951546&browser_id=&is_c= MaxGTRS in the '80W' option. I've found them to be brilliant.
  5. I have this fitter to my dsg 👍
  6. I've never heard of this one I'm afraid. Do you have access to a VCDS cable or similar to run a scan? It might shed some light on what the issue might be 👍
  7. 2018 is correct. I received my 2018 MY19 272 in November 2018.
  8. It could be that the gas fill weight is at the minimum and a regas could fix your problem. It will ship from the factory with the minimum fill level. My aircon works ok but it could definitely be cooler.
  9. I know exactly what you mean but when I first read that I thought you were talking about drugs! 😂😂
  10. DQ381 here. Mine always starts in D1 and quickly shifts to D2 once moving. I also find it easy to control when parking. Perhaps there's variances between the boxes when it comes to parking?
  11. I just checked and it was the prestige ones I bought. The other 3 all look excellent but the driver's one has the usual dimple from my foot. I don't know if the prestige mats were supposed to have a double thick area on the driver's mat, but mine does not.
  12. I for one would never know there was an update unless people like @MartiniB posted about it 😂
  13. That would be the sensible way of doing it. I work on aircraft and usually we try and remove the least amount of parts for access which can make jobs interesting shall we say! We're a stubborn bunch 🤣 You're right 😂👍
  14. All torx screws yes. I didn't bother putting two of them back in. Once you start the job, you'll know which two 😉 They went a bit overkill with the number of screws in my opinion! Make sure your torx bit is well held in your bit holder.
  15. Yes. It's doable! I did mine that way although I only changed the surround. Your way sounds better as you're changing the whole lot. A couple of the screws are fun 😝
  16. Well done Nick 👍 I dread to think what a dealer would charge you for the privilege! Diagnosis, parts, labour....multiple hundreds I'm sure.
  17. Hopefully this helps 👍
  18. @SashaGrace would be someone to get in touch with 👍
  19. I'm not sure of big changes but when I ordered mine in 2018, the spec actually improved. I was going to add front parking sensors and colour MFD but they became standard by the time my order went in. As did blind spot monitor and also kessy (which I personally would never have added). It might be worth finding a spec brochure from when you got yours and comparing to the current one? I'm sure they're floating about or a kind forum member can help out 😁
  20. I believe the vented are only on the 272/280 engined Superbs 👍
  21. Mine is business grey 👍
  22. Likewise, my SEL Exec came with full black leather as standard on a 2018 MY19. I think there was a choice of 'leather' colours too.
  23. I tried it a few times but it comes with a specific failure (I can't remember the exact message now). I think they changed the module when they added the GPF possibly.
  24. Where did you buy them from? I'm thinking of getting some too. Thanks
