What have you done to your Superb III today?
No, I only used a karcher, a nylon brush, some liquid soap and a bit of elbow oil... I'll take a pic tomorrow before putting them in their storage bags.

Summer wheels fully cleaned (tar removed too) front and back. Tyres dressed. 24h drying pending (at least)... They'll be put in their protective covers before being stored on saturday I guess.

New front bumper cost
Hi, According to ifinterface.com, a 'naked' front bumper has 3V0807218 OEM reference. Depending on final letter (D to G), the price is around €769-779 (w/o VAT). Then add around €250 (still w/o VAT) to get it paint. Note: These are average price in France, I don't know what it could be in UK. 🤷♂️ I nevertheless hope it helps.

Skoda superb workshop manual
Hi, It can be dowloaded for free on cardiagn.com. At least it was some months ago, but I've seen some complaining it wasn't anymore. Just have a try... You may have to try different web tools: Google / Firefox / Edge, etc. if it doesn't work at the first time...

Ramps
Hi, Do you mean something like this ? Otherwise, I think @JR RS has some he may recommand... As far as I remember, they are quite similar to these ones: Another solution could be these ones, if you intend to lift your Superb a bit higher: (Seen on Ali... I don't have them)

The Superb III Picture thread
Nice. I don't like the 'S k o d a' lettering on FL version too, but nothing at all, is a "step too far" for me 😁. The Skoda logo as on pre-FL version seems to be right compromise for me... 😉 But, the most important is that it suits YOUR taste!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Hi, Yesterday, I finally put my winter wheels on, checked front and rear brake discs and pads (127000km on the clock, all original ones except rear pads). I also regreased the front and rear sway bars silent blocks with marine grease (an excellent tip from our Master PhD Skoda expert @ApertureS 👋 🙏). I did it one year ago, and it removed all squeaks and creaks when driving over speed bumps. They started coming back only 2 weeks ago. This morning, my Mk3 was silent again over speed bumps. 😃 Tested & approved! 😉

Suspension
Yes it is active suspension controlled by DCC system. There are 3 suspension modes: Normal, Comfort, Sport. It modifies the reaction speed of shock absorbers. There’s no air suspension on Superb.

tiguan allspace 1.5TSI DSG as a rental - thoughts as a 4x4 DSG TDI driver
Hi, What do you mean by "traction issues"? Do you mean understeering or more sotheing like front wheel spinning when accelerating frankly? for instance. Do you think 4-season tyre could be the main reason?

Battery Change Superb mk3
Hi, I didn’t use any memory saver when I changed the battery of my MY18 Mk3. All data where kept in memory though (daily trip mileage, radio stations, etc.)

Automatic V Manual Transmission - And does manual have assisted driving features same as auto
That’s not available on early version. My MY17 doesn’t have this feature for instance.

Automatic V Manual Transmission - And does manual have assisted driving features same as auto
Manual gearboxes Mk3 are fitted with Stop & Start. 😉 Manual will prevent you for TJA (trafic jam assist) and possibly DCC (at least it might not have all driving modes available on an Auto. e.g.: ECO mode)

VCDS options on Superb III.FL
I don't think so. AFAIK, the headlight washers only trigger when lower beam are ON and once out of five times you pull the stalk to wash the wind shield. Knowing this may help you decreasing the frequency of your washer fluid top ups.

DRL eyelash activation/boot close with remote
On pre FL, using VCDS was not the solution. VCP was needed (and maybe ODIS, I can’t remember). I don’t know what about FL versions. There is a full thread pinned on 1st page. You should find the answer.😉

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Don’t wait too much with the battery. When it’s too weak, it’s quite sudden. On my former Mk2 Estate, all was ok and one day, Xmas tree lights on the dashboards. 😳 It was only 3.5 years old though… Probably from a wrong batch, who knows… I changed it on my current Mk3 at 6 years old. I didn’t want to play roulette when driving to work or dropping kids to school. Regarding the brake realease mod. It doesn’t deal with the Parking brake but Auto Hold. 😉 I confirm that it’s way smoother. I wouldn’t go back to ´normal / factory’ setting for sure.

Newbie - 16 Plate Mk 3 Boot Question
No, it’s also available in France too. At least on MY17 and MY18. Only works when you´re outside the car.

A small look into the faulty air quality sensors.
The original one was a D version. I threw it away upon replacement. The 2nd one was a D version too. I had to send it back for Quality control to be refunded. Thus I don’t have it anymore. The 3rd one is a F version. It’s currently on my Mk3 and working well so far… 🤞 Thus, sorry, I don’t have any broken one left… 🤷♂️

Thinking of moving to Enyaq, madness?
Difficult question, I´m still a diesel driver. And I have to say I´m not ready to switch to 100% electric car at this time... If you´re doubting, maybe a PHEV Superb could be a intermediate solution?

Is this the water pump issue?
Hi, Are you sure you don't mix oil and coolant temp displays? Coulant system is designed to keep almost steady at 90°C, whereas the oil temps is rather around 100°C and can fluctuate in a larger range. Coming back to your initial question. I don't see signs of water pump issue at this time. Note: I had to replace mine at 62000km (I'm also a TDI190 4x4 owner).
