  1. Did you try to reset the electric boot? I know the opening height can be adjusted. The reset operation should be described in the user’s manual.
  2. Hi, Before buying a new lighting board, I would start checking the current one. May be there’s a weak cable somewhere making a false contact or a shortcut. I would also check the plugs of the trailer which could be partially rusted, leadind to the same symptoms as above. I think this may be a common issue on boat trailers since operated in moist / salt conditions. I assume there are 2 plugs on your boat trailer (1 for the hook / 1 for the lighting board) These could be the root causes of all what you’re facing.
  3. Did the dealer try to reset the SW or reinstall the latest SW version? It may bring everything in the right configuration… Not heard of such thing either…
  4. Don’t forget EGR system which contibutes to get hot air from exhaust gaz to the air intake… Since there is no fault code, I wouldn’t worry too much.
  5. I don’t remember having used VCDS. Just proceeded as described in step #5 to prime the pump. It looked ok. Some use VCDS but actually, it doesn’t bring much. It does more or less the same thing as far as I understood. Check on several tutorials on YouTube if needed.
  6. Good idea. With the classic wire solution, when charging my phone, I put it horizontaly on the top of my Columbus in front of the left center air vent. No mod to do, and I can even adjust the air flow / air temp 😜.
  7. If there are brake wear indicators there're only on front brakes. Indeed, I fear that not all Superb Mk3 are fitted with. But, for front brakes "the wear limit is reached at a pad thickness of 7 mm, including backing plate (2 mm without backing plate)." For rear brakes "the wear limit is reached at a pad thickness of 7.6 mm, including backing plate (2 mm without backing plate)." Information in italics taken from official Workshop maintenance manual (§ 5.1, p124). To be downloaded for free on cardiagn.com.
  8. A 0.85l bottle doesn't give you much margin if something goes wrong. The maintenance manual recommends 700-720ml. A 1.0l bottle would be wiser.
  9. VAG recommends to replace it, indeed. I found it easier to disconnect the pump to have confortable access to clean the pump and its' gauge filter. In my "How to guide", I give a tip to unplug its connector easily.
  10. Well, 2-3 other housings still to install on the left and it's almost looking like an AMG engine bay... Nice anyway! Do you feel a real difference? 😃
  11. Would this answer your questions? Feel free to ask if something is still unclear.
  12. May be you should try to unpair your phone and pair it back. It may reset everything. At least it’s worth a try
  13. Has your windscreen ever been replaced?
  14. Haldex oil change is due every 3 years…
  15. You´re right. But I was only focused on suspension system…
  16. 🤨 What are talking about? There is no self leveling suspension on Superb Mk3. If you mean DCC,, it doesn't correct pitch angle depending on how much loaded your car is. DCC only adjusts the stiffness of your suspension system. Nevertheless, there is a pitch correction system in you Xenon headlights. There is an initialisation phase upon engine start (at night). This is a kind of "headlight dance" Down / Outer sides / Inner side / straight / Up. Then your headlights are set correctly whatever the load in your car. It's only small electric motors moving headlights. Nothing to do with suspension. AFAIK, low beams and high beams cannot be adjusted mechanically independently. There are 2 hex screws: 1 for vertical adjustment / 1 for horizontal adjustment. But they move the complete headlight at a time. Note: You can check on p160 of workshop maintenance manual (can be downloaded for free on cardiagn.com) if needed.
  17. OK. Sorry if it was a bad tip...
  18. Rather than letting the car idle for several minutes, I recommend driving very gently when engine is on. because it allows the gearbox oil, the gimbals grease to warm homogeneously. Otherwise, if you only let the engine idle, the engine oil will be OK, but gearbox and axles will be cold.
  19. Maybe something to try, if you have some DIY skills: There may be a proximity sensor hidden by the foldable plastic piece around the hook. To access this sensor, you need to remove the boot step. I'm not fully sure, just making a comparison with my wife's Audi Q3, which has this kind of sensor to switch the taillights from boot to rear bumper when the boot is open. Maybe worth to try...
  20. I may be wrong, but I think tow bar option includes a 2nd fan to increase coolant system efficiency. This may explain, why your 190bhp petrol engine runs much cooler.
  21. Same thing for mine.
  22. OK. Sorry, sometimes I miss jokes... Not bilingual, only 'fluent' 😄
  23. No, I'm french.
  24. May be you can try this as an aftermarket solution... No shy peep-peep anymore. 🤣!
  25. On mine, I sometime lose the setting. The box 'remember last setting' gets something unticked on its own for a reason I don't catch. It may happen once or twice a year...
