Are you on about wind deflectors? Plenty of them come up if you use that wording “Skoda superb wind deflectors” Bit old school now because of A/C but each to their own

No I mean there should be one, can’t imagine you’re the only one and pretty sure anything which can potentially cause fire is recall worthy. I don’t think dvsa or vosa accept reports from people which is wrong imo

You should have changed the ah at least as most aftermarket’s are 70ah compared to 68ah and the bem serial

On my old Passat there was a funky button you could press to vent the tank to get a little more in. Not sure if it’s accessible on a Superb but I wonder if your vent is kaput which is stopping you filling up

Ah it’s the boot one I’m more interested in but not sure it’s possible, to be honest like you said the front is possible and I’m sure others have asked and it wasn’t. Unless it’s different years can do it, mines a 2016, what’s yours?

My local VW dealer is part of a franchise and they have their own body shop, do anything VAG and even come out to do quotes for free. If your local Skoda franchise isn’t good check your nearest VW and even Audi

Have you got vcds etc? Need to change some things just in case you weren’t aware

If the battery is original replace, others have replaced on newer cars already, mines a 2016 and needs doing as it isn’t going to last in winter for sure

Finally managed to use the wood batten from my old summer house as a test to use in front of my Halfords ramps, it was successful but sketchy in an auto even with auto hold off Without the wood the front bumper would touch the ramp, now it’s all good I can finally start my own oil changes, some other day…

Do all superb have an air quality sensor or just the ones with air care? If all have them is air care any different to a car that doesn’t have the logo? seems to me it does the same thing but I’m sure there’s more to it

Someone else recently had the same issue, it was the plastic behind the speakers which broke Pretty sure he reckoned it could be caused by the doors closing and over the years just broke if i were you I’d remove one door panel and speaker and investigate, if its had it then get new ones, if they’re fine then not sure

A while ago I somehow broke the spring on my 12v flap socket in the boot Tried to fix but no chance so £18 lighter for a new one and all installed Horrible job half the plastics had to removed and even more because I dropped the screw for the 12v down so even more plastics had to be removed, blew a fuse when i undone the screw n all Too hot to work so I hate cars again, but it’s all back together

If I were you I’d just fit LED bulbs in your current lights. Oh didn’t realise you’re still under warranty, they’ll most likely say that, if you were paying for it all they’d find something, feed them some small lies like you can smell oil

I bought two 20amp fuses, when I get round to replacing them I’ll see if there’s any spares and report back in case anyone else asks. p.s don’t put a screwdriver in a 12v boot socket and forget it’s permanently live 😁

Sounds odd and intimate, but put your finger in your exhaust move it round, is your finger clean? If it’s all sooty then something is going on as it should be clean like I said it sounds odd 😂 Could be a small leak but with plastic under trays and sound absorbent (oil absorbent) materials underneath it may never show as a leak on your drive. If you weren’t going to send it back I’d say remove the under tray for a couple of weeks and observe

So with AC off but fans running there’s no funky sounds? I was going to suggest changing pollen filter anyway, do it the correct way by using cardboard underneath the pollen filter then withdraw cardboard and pollen filter together!, when it’s out you can shine a torch in by the fan and check there’s nothing in there (it’ll be tight so small mirrors might be needed) If that’s all clear and only works with AC on then I’m outta ideas
