AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
New phone means better photos of my Fabia, once I get to grips with it, that is. I have ordered some stuff for the Fabia yet again. All will be revealed very soon. A fitting guide (if not available already) will be created for one of said parts.

Skoda fabia 1.4 tdi remap options
You could spec it as an option on some models up until they dropped it from the configurator.

Rob's Mk1 VRS Combi
Good idea. I wish I did the same.

Skoda fabia 1.4 tdi remap options
Echoing on VWD, maybe uprate the front discs to the VRS/2.0 ones. There's threads outlining what you'll need for a job like that. I don't know how much benefit you'll receive with discs on the rear over drums. I'll leave that one to the experts. As a side note, maybe look at getting stiffer springs or a rear anti-roll bar (more commonly referred to as a RARB on here) if you haven't got one already. I don't have one but apparently they're a game changer with the Fabia.

Dog Harnesses
Positive since my wee dog travels well now and in safe style, less positive for my upholstery...

Fabia 1.4 mpi (68hp) to 1.8t auq
I believe it's easier (in a relative sense, being no walk in the park, as they say) since it has the mountings there.

reversing light switch
Does this help?

Fabia 1.4 mpi (68hp) to 1.8t auq
Not a problem. I'd like to see how this unfolds as I may consider this for the future if my Fabia lasts long enough, but with an Ibiza swap.

Adding on what Sep said, big brakes are a necessity since you're going to be putting down more power.

Middle Rear Headrest
Thanks! I've got the plastic sockets in the basket too. I'll be sure to report back with my findings.

Middle Rear Headrest
Well I'd need a time machine, and at that I'd spec a better engine and trim too. I can indeed. I'd like to fit it as part of my operation to make my Fabia look and feel a tad newer.

Probably be a matter of cutting and splicing the wiring loom of the car amongst other things. I have no idea about the immobiliser however.

That's the plan. Got one added to my basket currently.
