  1. There's Comfort models with grey trim (mostly older ones) and some with black trim. See here:
  2. You'll find production dates on things dotted around your car too if/when you have to repair something.
  3. Sep is right here. When I read it I could tell it's got a poor map on it. I'd look into getting that rectified @Chubuking.
  4. Would it perhaps be easier to sell that Mondeo tyre and then use the funds acquired to purchase one specifically for this Octavia?
  5. I had a gouge out of my passenger mirror as if it had been up a brick wall. Fortunately I knew a guy who fixed it for £30, for filler and respray etc. You could always get a cover off of a scrap car too and make it a neat wee job I suppose. I had a recommendation, also for when it's warmer, have you considered replacing your lower grey trim panels for black from a Comfort, Ambiente, vRS, or Elegance? I reckon it'd smarten up your car a little, if you don't mind me saying so.
  6. Seats from 476 up for sale on eBay... must be getting broken up. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185132490259?hash=item2b1ac19e13:g:eyoAAOSwZC5hem8b
  7. Happy 15th birthday, Furby! The car wasn't registered until 22/12/2006, but it built 15 years ago today according to all the stickers of various parts.

  9. Happy Hallowe'en, Keith. Welcome to the forums, loving the username.

  11. For info on bumper removal...
  12. I've alternated between MP3, WMA, WAV, and AAC (Apple iTunes) typically. I find that unless the file is on a low bit rate, I can't tell the difference. MP3 remained dominant because our car stereos (with the exception of my OEM Symphony unit) could play them fine without taking the huff. Make of that what you will, I guess.
  13. Me too, 27th for me. I've been the opposite, doing a lot of driving since I've been commuting. Found it to be alright. The only issue I faced was the examiner wouldn't stop talking to me when I was trying to concentrate.
  14. Welcome to the forums, Ben! Fellow new-ish driver here, I passed in August.
  15. I think there's a bit on Ross-Tech's website about being unable to use a COM to USB interface adapter due to the way they emulate serial connectivity or something to that degree. You'd need the real COM/DB9/Serial port. You haven't tried my iMac G3 then
  16. Very true, George. I find the Fabia's height to be just right. From sitting within the car, I feel a little high due to having a relatively long back even with the seat at it's lowest position, but it isn't the worst feeling. I get that crossovers and SUVs are the way forwards for those who prioritise accessibility first and foremost, but why should others have to be dictated into the type of car we are buying, but that's just marketing for you. I think that makes sense, if it comes across right haha!
  17. Welcome to the forums!
  18. Regardless, I'll stick with a "conventional" car.

  20. I'm not quite as taken on with the Ora as I was when I saw reviews for the MG estate, but I reckon that's just down to personal preference. Be sure to let us know how you find the Ora to drive!
  21. My Grandad's Sandero is of the same year and engine. He's been running E10 in it and hasn't noticed any difference really.
