  1. The car is not picking up module 69 -trailer. Have you checked for power, ground, canbus at the module? And are you sure that module is even suitable for the car, ive personally never heard of it.
  2. The sunroof is on the canbus network so you would either have to remove power from the motor or the sunroof controller. Coding it out would be a bit of a pain and even then youd need to just disconnect it after. Or even easier, pull the fuse?
  3. That’s my bad, I completely missed the part where he has fitted 2020 onwards lights!
  4. It goes in the rear as that’s how it can determine which sensor is fitted to which wheel. if you’re gonna place it anywhere else you’ll have issues with localising the sensors. if you are going through the effort of removing the centre console to hide it, why not do it properly and run it to the back of the car?
  5. The light won’t self extinguish, you will need to have the faults cleared with a diagnostic scanner. chances are it will be just a low voltage code due to flat battery
  6. £85 oil is very cheap? You sure it was genuine? and by the time you add a filter and the new crush washers that brings you over £110. So they only made £60? Which is less than most garages hourly rate. either they are very cheap or something doesn’t add up with this price.
  7. £285 sounds about right for the dealer and reasonable. £350 is well over the top considering they probably wont use genuine parts. I offer them for around £250 using genuine parts (or £200 with non genuine parts) as the gear oil is very expensive and the dealer buys in such large quantities to get a discount to offer it at that price. Regarding the filter, you are getting confused with the 7 speed gearbox which the filter is classed as a 'non-serviceable' item, the 6 speed gearbox filter will be changed with the service.
  8. The simple answer is sadly no. Any aftermarket headunit will loose a lot of the OE functionality and fill your car with a variety of fault codes. Out of interest, why are you looking to replace it as there may be OE alternatives that could work for you.
  9. @CostinRamon @Waylon If you look at the second part of my post here it shows you what needs checking/adjusting to enable eye lashes all the time. This is found in 09 BCM
  10. Thats a good point and i can see that in your photos! Ive removed my comment till i work out the deciding factor!
  11. Have you tried a different charging location and also a different charging cable? The lock will also only engage once you lock the car.
  12. Edit: Removed till i work something out
  13. For this to work you need to have paid for the 'Remote Access' subscription. (Very silly indeed) and also on the skoda portal: "Digital Certificate is available for vehicles produced after 06/2018."
  14. So 5q0907643D is the one that is for a superb, it has since been superseded to 5Q0907643F so there will have been improvements hopefully! But F is the one you want D doesn’t exist anymore
  15. Here’s a brand new genuine one for less than £130. https://www.lllparts.co.uk/product/5Q0907643F/5q0907643f-genuine-vag
  16. It’s crazy to think that TPS is generally (but not always) more expensive than LLL now! Even with my trade account at tps it’s often cheaper to import from Czech or go through LLL, don’t know what is wrong with their pricing!
  17. You may be able to see the mot centre locations and if the centre numbers match up for every mot then chances are it’s police
  18. Yeah that’s a Whelen vertex strobe so I’d same it’s ex emergency service spec. There won’t be anything to say it was police and there is no obligation for anyone to mention it sadly.
  19. Not all cars are equipped with drive mode 😛 if your car doesn’t have drive mode, you also will not have dcc.
  20. Also to note is you will loose 90% of the car functionality that is controlled through the headunit that is tpms, ambient lighting, nav on instrument cluster and a lot more, control over specifics of the adas systems your car will also be littered with fault codes.
  21. I would first be updating the software to H as it’s the most stable then regarding changes you can do the following Lane Assist - can be done with vcds or a few other tools Traffic Jam Assist - can only be done with odis or vcp and a dataset modification Emergency Assist - this is part of the radar (module 13) Traffic Sign Recognition - can be done with vcds and a few other tools pACC - this is a very complicated change and required odis and a lot of hacking you can also get high beam assist easily enough. your car must have at least one of the above from the factory, else they wouldn’t of fitted the camera
  22. Another photo of a remote siren flute with pipe and driver.
  23. It will be an EX emergency services vehicle most likely. if you take a look at the below link it’s called a flex siren and allows the speaker to be located somewhere remote but the actual output a bit closer to the bonnet. https://www.vehiclebodyfittings.co.uk/products/siren-flute-tube?_pos=5&_sid=578122236&_ss=r this siren flute will be what you are seeing behind the grille I would assume. when you say a small button on the steering coloumn it would have been a bullhorn or ptt button. And got any photos of the lights in the headlamps?
  24. Your gateway code is related to the tow bar module, it is looking for it but can’t find it? Did you have a smart tow bar module fitted or a universal one? your instrument cluster code we can’t help with, you’d need to read it with odis or vcds which will supply more details and tell us what message is actually missing and whether it’s a send or receive issue. The air conditioning system fault is on the LIN bus network by the looks of things which is a big network running the fan, all flaps, pressure sensor, quality sensor, light sensor. If there is a fault on here, that’s going to be fun to locate! and the gearbox code I’ve not come across before sorry but is it a 7spd gearbox or 6spd?
