How To: Retrofit a heated steering wheel to a mk3 Octavia
You are jumping to far too many conclusions and changing far too many parts without the full diagnosis! Start with the basics - is the fuse okay? If so, have you got power at the steering clockspring where it goes into the back? If so, the large ground right next to it, is this good? Not just a resistance test, but a load test. Once these are confirmed to be okay - with readings, post your findings and i can advise further.

Ventilacija
The air quality sensor controls recirculation not the distribution of air to the different vents. that is a separate issue

The sticker in the boot will only contain about 10-20 pr codes whereas the cars nowadays have a few hundred.

Part number for TSR
The dealers are limited by 'computer says no' and the general techs do not have the background knowledge to manually do things as they are not taught this nor have access to the engineering side of things. It is not possible even with access to dealer software/training/servers because they simply do not offer it, meaning they have no process/cost/parts/procedure/software to carry this out. A 3Q0 camera requires a completely different windscreen as the camera is physically different, the coding is then different and some modules may not like it - such as if you have matrix headlights, these wont work. Same for if you have travel assist. Unless someone a hell of a lot smarter than me hacks it, then it wont be possible - these cameras have been out for 5 years now and ive not seen any hacks for them like this yet.

The codes you reference are called PR codes and a build sheet of your car can have a few hundred. If you PM me your vin I can supply a full print out for your car. But it also depends on what ‘etka’ you are using as many are out of date and won’t have the latest parts and superseedings on there. If you wanted to tell me what part you are after I can find the exact newest part number for you.

280 4x4 suspension (DCC) and brakes...
If you have DCC, stick with DCC. As much as it can be coded out, it’s an awfully painful job to do as it’s sowed into all the other systems. the rear level sensor would need re wiring to the bcm instead of the dcc module. Stick with it and get either Monroe shocks or bilstein. regarding the brakes. OE are poor in my opinion and have a huge amount of brake dust. I’m cleaning mine weekly. Id go with Pagid or TRW ceramic pads, and mtec painted discs.

Heating to rear
Luckily for this one the entire dashboard doesn’t need removing. but you will need to remove the centre console completely as it’s located roughly behind the heater control panel but access is limited.

Refitting tailgate rubber boot grommet at body on hatchback
You’ll need to remove the loom, depin all of the connectors that go into the car side of it. Feed the rubber off the ends, fit the new one and then repin the connectors. Not an easy or quick job; that’s for sure!

QI charger error and not charging
First thing id do is test a different phone to see if its the phone issue. If not, being a brand new car - straight back to the dealer under warranty.

Part number for TSR
SFD does not protect the TSR side of things. It’s done with a SWAP code that unless someone manages to reverse engineer, won’t be hackable. the dealer won’t have a clue sorry, and sadly its not possible at all. as things begin to move towards a paid piece of software in cars, this encryption and wall will only begin to become the norm.

Part number for TSR
Which year is your superb? If it is the pre 2020 3Q0 camera it can be coded easily. After this it’s the later 2Q0 cameras which cannot be coded nor hacked, meaning it’s not possible sorry

Rear nearside vent glass replacement

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Have you tested the glovebox lights and interior lights since fitting them? Generally people have a lot of issues with the dash showing boot lid open when any other interior or glovebox light is on.

Superb III Sportline - Mission Impossible Spec
TV tuner now fully working Lots of coding options for rear displays - Wonder if I could mount some displays in the sportline headrests.... hmmm - just something ill consider in the future. Got a few other issues that ive got to diagnose - A gateway fault with no details that wont clear! Its looking for something that doesnt exist so will need some more digging. Antenna fault for phone charger base - I assume ive wired something incorrectly on the amplifier for the antenna but need to look into it more Then the next part of the plan is the suspension, wheel alignment, a tyre, dcc coding and webasto pipe work.
