The tyre pressure screen is just the landing screen and only needs acknowledgment after you've altered the pressures. Can you elaborate on the blind spot monitor? Follow the links in my signature for the latest map updates. TMC is free but you may have to select a radio station to get it from. It was a while ago when I last looked and it's not something I use now either.

A first pretty of call would be to soft reset both the infotainment and phone.
