  1. Why would you want them off? Auto lights are notorious for people driving around in poor visibility and no rear side lights. Personally I always code them to be on.
  2. Welcome David. TBH if you aren't going to use it regularly you are better off finding someone local to code the car for you for a few beer tokens. I imagine most things are going to be locked with SFD though, so you will need someone who can also do that (most owners won't be able to do this but it can be done with certain OBDeleven subscriptions... I personally unlock with OBDeleven then code with VCDS.) Take a look in the link in my signature for someone local to you with VCDS.
  3. Looked and test drove a few: Enyaq vRS Coupé Drove nice, but it’s quite a tall bulky car, make sure it has the HUD. Kia EV6 Looks very nice, but no decent Matrix headlights (no distance with then) Ioniq 5 Not as nice as the EV6 ID.3 Tour (77 kWh) 3 years into ownership and it’s a nice car. ID.7 Very nice and loaded with toys, nice enough for me to order one! More and more Tesla Superchargers are being open up to other brands and they are usually cheaper (but not cheap)
  4. Welcome, I've moved the post to somewhere more suitable. Whilst the Bilstein B6 is very impressive it would IMO be a shame to lose the DCC as I really loved it, sporty (for such a big car) when required and uber luxurious (almost boat like!) for when parents are in the car.
  5. AIUI it's a detuned version of the TTS engine, these do suffer with water pump failure. Nothing more to add really than ALL the points Nick has just raised.
  6. Welcome. It's more than likely going to need coding to your car with VCDS etc. I know when people upgrade to a Columbus they have to be coded.
  7. More than likely yes. Save the scan then clear the DTC's, then rescan after a few miles to what if anything is still a fault.
  8. @MartiniB What do your following abbreviations represent?: * ** *** ??? --- clearly means it doesn't work (on your vehicle, at least, probably on all?) I.E. NOK (Not OK)
  9. It is worth noting that many VAG owners have reported that the: "One-Click Apps – pre-made car coding applications designed to simplify your customization journey" can and will also change totally unrelated and unnecessary coding on some controllers / cars, please bear this in mind and use at your own risk, personally I would ALWAYS recommend you do the physical coding manually yourself (after a little research in what to change). Myself and several other VCDS owners have had requests to try and revert coding done with these Apps.
  10. A couple of corrections (Ross-Tech's definitions) and a few additions: 3C – Side assist - This is actually: 3C – Lane Change 8C - Hybrid Battery - This is actually: 8C - HV Battery (High Voltage) C0 - Act. for Ext. Noise (external speaker for EV noise) 8105 - DC/DC Converter 12V 8123 - App server 1 system 1 adaptive 8124 - App server 1 system 2 Java 8125 - App server 3 system 1 infotaint. 8128 - Light line display
  11. Most who see the colour in person say it's more green than blue. But it maybe a colour that some see as blue, others as green?? We recently moved house and this is called "Dix Blue"?? (everyone who has seen it say's it's green)
  12. Boring grey is bound to be the most popular colour, we’ve been guilty of that trend so insisted on a proper colour for our cars this time. Although it’s a bit wishy washy Nissan (used to at least, not sure if it’s still available?) offered the Leaf in this silvery green:
  13. It’s officially turquoise so a greeny blue (more green than blue TBH) depending on the light. It was the only ‘real colour’ available on the ID.3 when it was introduced. A couple of photos in daylight :
  14. Welcome. You would have to go a long way to beat a Bilstein B12 kit.
  15. No unfortunately not, it's possible on 2015 / early 2016 cars with VCP, but not on later cars.
  16. Very easy when you know how, with the light switch in the off position push the knob in and turn clockwise, it then pulls out.
  17. Have you coded it through the apps or manually? Always code manually with OBDEleven.
  18. What’s the age, model and trim level you have?
  19. Well clearly it has, out of the 4 posters who have had their comments hidden you quoted one of them. Which I hasten to add added nothing to this post whatsoever other than to stir things up.
  20. Several posts hidden before this gets further out of hand. I'm sure non of the posters who have had their post hidden need to reminded what the next steps will be if we need to moderate the post further??
  21. Just the lower one. I would be lying if I said it didn’t increase the NVH, but it really was minimal and it stopped the engine from knocking under hard acceleration.
  22. Welcome 99% sure yes, my 65 plate Superb (physical buttons) had DAB
  23. Sorry I missed part of the post during an edit! Yes an 034 Motorsport insert into the rear rubber mount (Version 2 in my case). https://www.awesomegti.com/034motorsport/034motorsport-billet-aluminium-mqb-dogbone-mount-insert/ In Joel's case it is probably just down to the worn front bush in the dogbone itself though. (My car was pushing 505 Nm after the remap)
