Part number request
You could get a one from Autodoc which is more than 1/2 the SUK price.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Just washed it. What helps is the Raceglaze water filter which means zero water marks, although I do towel most of it off. It really needs a whole day spent on it but I just don’t have the time at the moment.

Rear wash system
Yeah, that's where it always blocks. I've tried using a cut-down cable tie and a pipe cleaner in the past but neither of those worked in my case. I really don't get why they couldn't use a 90 degree curved piece.

Rear wash system
I’ve had and, like many others, continue to have this issue occasionally. I really couldn’t contemplate dismantling (and possibly damaging) the hatch trim to get at the pipework so on the advice of my service specialist, I now use a piece of thin welding rod and that always unblocks it. It’s a useless design IMO and one used on many VAG products.

Chattering Like Cam Noise
Did the same trip yesterday. Nothing. Engine sound perfectly normal. Oil temp upto 110c. Weird….

Chattering Like Cam Noise
On Saturday, I had to travel from Surbiton to Ealing Broadway, a round trip of around 18 miles with a stationary hour of so before returning. It was stop/start and slow moving traffic all the way in both directions. On the return journey, I noticed that the engine it developed a constant chattering sound, not unlike the tappet sound of the old A series when they're out of clearance. On revving the engine in N, the sound remained, although perhaps not quite as loud as when its under load. The oil temp was between 103-105c and the water temp was dead centre as usual. The following morning the sound had gone, albeit the trip I did, didn't even get the oil temp beyond 70c. So it'll have to go in for a check up, but in the meantime, any suggestions?

Cluster dashboard lights
It’d need to be scanned to confirm of course.

Cluster dashboard lights
…..and it could well be the ABS sensor as @Berisford said…

Interior quality
Mine too. 10 next March and zero issues like the OP’s.. and yep I have a wedding ring. However, the steering wheel is already shiny after 55k, which I think isn’t great and unfortunately, there’s no way to return it to a decent matt finish.

Christmas tree errors
Certainly looks like the sensor has failed. It was the NSR which failed on ours a few years ago, lighting up the dash and bleeping like billyo.

Stop start cuts out when car still moving forward.
Having said that, I never had the car stall when touching the accelerator.

Stop start cuts out when car still moving forward.
Can be normal behavior, which is why I've turned the bloody thing off. Its not just Skoda; all VW brands do it.

The 280PS Thread
No idea. The oil companies are always “enhancing” their products.

Squeak noises in right engine side
I had exactly the same sound as you describe. It was a lack of refrigerant in the system. Once (the leak in my case was repaired) it was regassed, the noise disappeared.

Get the AC recharged.

Replacing steel front subframe with an alloy one?
JMO, but it appears to be a total waste of time and effort, as there doesn’t seem to be any real performance improvements, just the introduction of a load of annoying creaks and clanking. And, no doubt, it cost a bloody fortune too?

Buying a Mk3 - Impossible specification?
Yeah, I’ve update my post to reflect that. In the intervening 4 years, they almost doubled in the option cost.

Buying a Mk3 - Impossible specification?
From the start, but they were a £425 option in 2016. I’ve just seen they became standard later in the MKIII L&K.

in-car Phone problem
Car spec? Year? Head unit type? iOS or Android? Wired or Bluetooth link? When did this first occur?

Buying a Mk3 - Impossible specification?
Just to clarify; not all L&K versions have ventilated front seats.

Coolant expansion tank
I changed mine about two years ago I think. I didn’t buy an OE one, but a dirt cheap one from eBay. I decided to keep the G13 coolant in place and added a VW silikat cartridge, which is far more substantial than the teabag used in the OE tank. Also, the cap is dead easy to open and close and it hasn’t had any ill effects on the performance.
