  1. Check the vehicle status in the same central display and see if anything is logged.
  2. Nice wheels; darn sight easier than cleaning the Trinitys on ours with their small gaps.
  3. Yet another reason why I think the traditional dealership days are numbered. They add no real value, are costly to support and most provide dreadful customer service and expensive vehicle servicing and repair costs. So one can understand why Avril Palmer-Baunack’s Constellation group (webuyanycar, BCA and Cinch) have bought the Marshall Motor Group. I suspect the direct-to-customer web-based route will become more prevalent and the locations will just be there for servicing.
  4. Yeah, and it was around that speed Ap - so 57/60mph - on the MKI PD140 Elegance and the MKII CR170 Elegance when I’d get IRO 70mpg with both. That speed was fine at 05.00 and 16.30 when I used to do a 110 mile round trip from Home to Reading and back everyday. Wouldn’t want to do those speeds on a long leisure trip though cos at 75-80 returning a genuine 35mpg is ok with me.
  5. ^^^ Exactly the same here. I Didn’t buy a car with 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine with 276 bhp, a DSG box and 4WD for great fuel consumption. When I’m working, it’s four 2.5 mile trips 5 days a week and I get 21-23mpg. On a 1,400 mile round trip to Ireland, I averaged 34.6. On the motorways at 75-80 I was getting average 38. I used to get similar mpg on our 1985 2.0 Fiat Supermirafiori with 111bhp so there you go.
  6. Green, Green, White so = normal.
  7. Perhaps this’ll help.
  8. The 7 litre as I bought it for £30 on Nextdoor.
  9. L&K has more goodies if, of course, they’re important to you. If they are and you can afford the difference, I’d go for the L&K, or you’ll keep wondering why you didn’t. It was a easy for me as I wanted heated seats all round, as the family had enjoyed those on the MKI. The fact it also had a TV, ventilated seats, rear seat release, a cream interior, 276bhp and I knew the original owner, how he kept it and it’d only covered 18k, all made it a no brainer.
  10. Since buying a Race glaze water filter, I have no issues with white spots any longer. To extend its efficiency, I’m running a separate outside tap from the home filtered water this weekend, which will make the bloody expensive resin last longer.
  11. I’ve just searched and I can’t find any reference to polarised windows being fitted to Skoda vehicles. I’ve just checked mine and there’s no sign of Polarised jaggies when looking through any of the windows and there’s no issue with the polarising filter on the rear dashcam either. Do you think it might be something to do with the auto-dimming mirror/s?
  12. Wow - when were Polarised windows introduced to the S3?
  13. Yep, the oil supplier recommended simply depends on the deal which is done corporately by VW/Skoda. It was Shell on the 2006 and 2011 Superbs we owned. That deal extends to the bulk oil purchased by the authorised dealers so they get an advantageous purchase price and I'd presume upon which VW then get an annual sales rebate.
  14. I had ours on pretty much continual charge from Sept to April. Given its 6.5 years old, I guess it’s due to go kaput any time soon.
  15. I had ours pretty much on continual charge from Sept to April and given it’s 6 years old I’m expecting it to fail anytime soon.
  16. Make & Model: Superb MKIII Team Heko Wind Deflectors Price: £22.50 plus P&P at cost Description: A set of Genuine Team Heko Front and rear wind deflectors. All clips included and I’ve replaced the original double sided tape which was useless. I had them on the car for four days and decided they’re not for me. They’ll be sent in the original box. £22.50 plus P&P at cost. Currently £38 on eBay.
  17. Oh I do; buffering the living daylights out of my ear’oles above 40mph!
  18. God I hope not. They’re aren’t many items I can think of which do precisely the opposite of their design brief and function but this excels in both areas as they’re bloody noisy and useless at providing draft-free ventilation. I put them on and off they came 5 days later.
  19. Try resetting the windows. Ignition on and roll all the windows down with the four switches on the drivers armrest. Wait 5 seconds. Then wind them all up at once whilst continuing to hold the switches up. When they reach the fully closed position do not let go of the switches - hold them in the up position for at least 10:seconds. Re test your passenger window and hopefully this will have cured the memory issue.
  20. In my case it’s three years. And shove it and the spare in a faraday pouch and there’s no security issue at all..
  21. Nice spec, nice price and FSH. Buy it, you won’t regret it.
  22. Mines from an Indy (who were excellent BTW), which came to them a trade in to a Ford dealer against a brand new Mustang GT by the first owner Prykey, so I didn’t hesitate to purchase it for £20k and 19k miles in March 2020. John confirmed it only came with two keys, one chrome and one non.
  23. Go to a dealer or specialist.
  24. Well that’s a bit laid-back in terms of factuality, given 90% of dealer management lie with impunity and encourage staff to do the same. They have as much integrity as that blond entitled buffoon in No. 10.
  25. I’ve got KESSY and I have two, and only two were supplied at point of handover, so obviously a sales balls-up. 🙄
