Brake warning light
I would never recommend that someone NOT change their brake and clutch fluid because it makes such a difference to the efficiency of the system.

Brake warning light
I think you're right.

New owner MPG question(s)!
I think it's self priming, after you've done the deed, switch on the ignition for 30 seconds to allow the lift pump to refill the filter housing then try starting it, if no good then rinse and repeat.

New owner MPG question(s)!
Absolutely you should change the fuel filter.

spare wheel psi?
It's a space saver, inflation pressure is moulded into the sidewall.
-
spare wheel psi?
If you have a space saver spare then the pressure should be very high about 65 psi.

1.6TDI N75 Weirdness
If you're certain it's faulty then simply replace it, they're not very expensive. You can't clean it because they can't get dirty so I've no idea what that nonsense is about.

There, you just have to ask the right question next time.

2006 Fabia vRS Near Side Rear Door Carrier 6Y0839751AR
The vast majority of Fabias had rear windy windies with central locking, the VRS is exactly the same, it's just a Fabia.

The wiring loom to the lock has been cut, did you need the wiring loom as well then?

1.9 VRS Estate potential future project
I agree that bigger is always better for front brakes but as you say it's perfectly possible to make the stock 288's work well.

skoda fabia mk1 mk2 1.4 tdi engines
Christ, you lot make driving sound so INTERESTING, do you have spreadsheets to map fuel consumption trends or do you do a simple moth count every time you open your wallet? 😄

1.9 VRS Estate potential future project
Conversely my 288's are excessively powerful, they'll break your nose with a light prod on the middle pedal, Pagid discs and pads probably make a difference but the old 2.0 is a fair bit lighter than the 1.9 PD diesels.

Fabia MkII Rear wiper arm rogue nut!
Absolutely not, why are you erecting giant walls of text for such a simple problem, criticising me for daring to suggest there's more than one way to skin a cat then complaining when I robustly rebut that criticism. Read what you wrote again in reply to me and stop splitting hairs, it makes you sound petty.

Wet footwells o/s drivers and rear on Skoda Fabia 06 mk1. When it rains car is soaking inside at footwells?? Please help.🙏🙏
Water is supposed to run down inside the doors and drain out of the bottom onto the sills, most cars are like this because you cannot seal the window against water ingress where it winds down. Not everyone has a problem, my 2.0 Fabia does not wet the carpets or leak and it was built in 2001, some cars do leak but it's pretty easy to fix it permanently using a sealant on the window carrier.

Fabia MkII Rear wiper arm rogue nut!
Who gives a ****, it still won't throw sparks if cut with a dremel wheel. This is a self help forum, we don't need method statements and risk assessments to get results.

Fabia MkII Rear wiper arm rogue nut!
Are you for real dude, honestly, since when does brass throw off sparks when it's cut?
-
Fabia MkII Rear wiper arm rogue nut!
The only way to get that insert off the wiper motor is to use a puller as suggested or split it carefully using a Dremel, you might be able to grip it and gently wiggle it off but I doubt it.

My assisted power stering is not working properly
So what's the voltage reading in the morning before you start the engine?
-
My assisted power stering is not working properly
Now that you finally have the alternator sorted out you really need to check the battery because you've been killing it for all that time.
