  2. Has a similar problem with my old android phone. New Phone with a later version of Android on it sorted it. Maybe the iPhone OS is too old?
  3. Just looked at the ECS kit says its for Yeti with a prefitted connector, I believe that a Yeti will only have this if its had factory towbar prep. Most havent.
  4. Westfalia every time, you can then get a panel in the bumper to cover it up when not in use, cant do that with Towtrust. Don't forget to get it programmed correctly and get the fridge/12vdc/ground extra lines fitted even if you don't need them at the moment as you might one day.
  5. I found that mine needed charging about every 3-4 days with intensive use streaming music. So never bothered to leave it plugged in just put it on charge from the cig socket overnight evey couple of days or so. Its a cheap and easy solution.
  6. Do you have a centre armrest with an AUX socket in it? If you do then this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133829334896? Works well for streaming audio, it can also connect the phone for calls.
  7. Not the best way to wire a tow bar, a dedicated wiring kit and reprogramming of the ECU is the way to do it. Reprogramming gives you the towing stability control, and disables the sensors when in reverse and a trailer is connected.

No not missing it at all, the new Yeti makes the old one feel somewhat agricultural. Registered mid Feb 2018, I can only find 9 diesels on where are they now that were registered in Q1 2018 and none later. Must get round to looking properly Big test will be next week bringing back 1400kg of caravan

That was my intention as well to keep my 2010 Yeti. However just over 2 weeks ago it was replaced by........... A 2018 Yeti of almost identical spec and colour, which will probably be my last car as when it is 20 I will be 85
  10. Two? There is only one in mine unless they are stuck together☹️
  11. Thank you
  12. Mine is a great boot light but rubbish torch. Batteries are shot. I guess 3 x AAA rechargables will sort it. Any particular battery chemistry?
  13. I think with a 1.8 and a sunroof you will have picked the two biggest bad points of owning a Yeti.🤭 Good Luck😎
  14. I replaced my 12v socket with a double USB socket that has a built in switch. Like this one; Thlevel Dual USB Charger Socket, https://amzn.eu/d/7y8d9NW
  15. Living in the mild, sunny and damp South West the temperature didn't even get as low as -10 last week more like -6. Diesel was bought a week before so should have been "winter" diesel.
  16. As has mine, not that I have driven very far today. Was suggested elsewhere it could be the diesel waxing, think there would have been many more roadside breakdowns if that was the case.
  17. Over the last week or so in this cold weather mine has been the same, definitely no washing going on ever! All live readings on Carista appear normal and no fault codes. At 167000 miles I have a suspicion it may be a mucky inlet tract so if I can get time I intend to remove the throttle body and clean it all out. Other than that I'm at a loss.

Apart from the full figure 80g that's similar info to VAGDPF. Multiplying up your ash vol/mass figures I get 78g for mine So whether its 72 or 78 its getting close to the 80g full mark. Assuming 80g is the Yeti dpf full figure..
  19. idleness replied to Yety's topic in Skoda Yeti
Using the picture above 26% =17.91g so 100% would be (17.91/26) x 100 =68.88g And if your figures are correct at 72g my DPF is over full. 😱 I'm getting shorter distances between regens down to 89miles sometimes 😟 My local indy and local DPF specialist says leave it until it no longer regens before looking at it. ETA someone on here had an ash figure of 2.x on VAGDPF ......
  20. Removing a dpf is illegal and it's presence and whether it's been tampered with should checked at the MOT

I read it as when it shows 100% it's closed, normally during hard acceleration and when doing a regen. The rest of the times it's various states of closed i.e. when it shows 16% it's 16% closed or 84% open. I may of course be completely wrong.

My CR EA189 engine measures oil ash in litres with no percentage, the reading presently on 0.18 after 166000 miles Bit annoying really as no one knows the limit!
  23. Let's look at your maths. 50 kph isn't even close to 35mph 50 kph =31.069 mph much closer to 30 than 35. CBA with the rest of it
  24. 30mph in 6th ?? Maxidot gear ranges are rubbish, I ignore them For me 30mph is 3rd 40mph is 4th 50mph is 5th 60mph is 6th Never get any gearbox rumbles I just look at VAGDPF to confirm regen status, I pretty much know when its going to happen anyway.
