  1. Im really not understanding why its a problem for a driving test? an analogue needle speedo as is present is all thats needed to track your speed. a digital option is.. nice? but isnt necessary. the test cant deem it a requirement for a digital display given the number of older cars that people srill drive with NO digital anything, even a mechanical odometer.
  2. Hi, Welcome (back?) to brisky :) i saw a review snippet of the elroq vrs, it looks like quite a chunk of car! hope you get on well with it!
  3. as standard 😉🙃
  4. Hi and welcome to Brisky. this place is like the bmw forums except, like the cars, better in every conceivable way 🤣

  9. id lay money on the arb bushes.
  10. Good God almighty people, why do we have to bicker so? this is a generally lovely forum to be on, and its up to us memebers to keep it like that. @Exkiwi Differences of opinion happen, but its a lot easier to get along with a friendly tone than being confrontational even when opinions differ...
  11. clunks and thunks tend to be bushes. as alisdair said , they might look okay, until they come out.
  12. evening, an amber eml coming on could be for several reasons. only way to know what it is is get it plugged in to a diagnostic tool and read the fault code history. did anything change in how it was driving before vs after the light coming on? did it go into limp mode for example?
  13. wow... people can get pretty hot under the collar while offering help around the place cant they? i think everybody would benefit from refreshing their knowledge of the posting guidelines - https://www.briskoda.net/forums/guidelines If you read it, remember mods can bin posts that serve noone or just seem to be getting personal in tone.. and if people keep pushing those buttons theres member strikes and timeouts that can be applied. disagreements happen, but it doesnt need to lead to name calling and stuff. mods are busy enough keeping the place tidy and functioing to have start watching what people are saying to each other.
  14. Afternoon, and welcome to briskoda!
  15. I would suggest pming @Moorland he might get back to you
  16. ah yeah, like picking up a rental car and seeing all the locations the previous renters went to... really makes you wonder what other ways they are so lax about our private data with 🙈 Hope you enjoy the car though!!
  17. Good morning @juangarcia Welcome to the forum, and dont worry about english not being perfect. if in doubt, google translate does a decent job these days for more popular languages.
  18. G'Day! welcome to briskoda @kangarooo Do you know that the link you posted goes to an image of not a Yeti? if you want, a mod can fix it for you, if you have the right link?
  19. Guten tag Pete, theres a few other German members around, and a couple of UK ExPats (Brexit Refugees aint ya @Lee01 😂😂)
  20. H and welcome along, I was foing to say have a look in the Superb section for your car's model, but i see you already reposted the question there. Hopefully you'll get a good response 👍
  21. Morning, good day so far, despite it being a work day and the flogging rain that started about 10mins ago 😂 welcome to Brisky, hope you enjoy the community and gain some knowledge and hopefully can share some knowledge too!
  22. dont need to remove it! jaysus thats extreme. changing the post about peoples wives wouldve been enough 😂😂
  23. No, i havent seen any of the pms, but that doesnt mean a whole lot when what people see is someone getting cranky on the public side. i know selling stuff, no matter what it is, is a pain in the arse, and every other orifice. and at times makes you feel like just setting fire to the thing instead of dealing with people, but.. you still have a better chance moving on what is a well specced, and should be wanted by a good enthusiastic owner who doesnt mind taking on a project, vehicle, if the general vibe is "sound" rather than cranky.
  24. @Moorland if you want to sell the car, youve a better chance if your not slaggin people off. 1 person said hey would be interestedbut dont have space for a FOURTH car.. and someone else mentioned it for their wife as a possibility. thats not everybody needing permission to do anything.. I know your new, so, take a breath and dont be the type of seller or member noone wants to deal with.
  25. okay... i wonder could some brisky magic happen 😉
