Leaking coolant and no boost.
@Tomsalmon Is this still your vRS? So likely water pump and the Turbo is now 'inhibited'. How many miles on the car and has the water pump and belts ever been changed? Parts are cheaper these days. & there are more recent threads than this if you search. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/415178-fabia-mk2-vrs-twincharger-water-pump-part-numbers-supercharger-cluth

Servicing lead times
An Oil & Inspection service is not just an Oil Change. It is not much though. If your car is under warranty and there was a fault that put it off the road you should not be left carless. Skoda Assist / the Dealership can get you a car at no cost to you.

Central Locking jammed locked and wipers stay on intermittent
You are dealing with employees of some company that have a Skoda dealership. That is not Skoda though.

So when can we order a new one?
@JonnyBaddeley Maybe worth discussing with the forums management what donation to the forum you want to make or discounts to the founder is available.

Head for thinking, feet for dancing and ear plugs for when the exhaust is burst or the back box has fallen off.

Replacing Yeti
As well to search for a Jimny and make a pickup out of it, or get one already cut down and add a bed of your choice.

Back box delete
@MGMonteC Welcome to the forum. Just get under the car and take off the back box and listen and see if you like. If you do put the back box back on until you get it sorted out with no back box and just a pipe. Or maybe get a 'cherry bomb' and fit it. What is the worst that can happen??? If he do not like put the back box back on.

E-bike
@Colin170CR Basically the bike is illegal in the UK to use on public roads since it has twist and go. Saying that i have one that is illegal to use on the UK's public highways as it is to a US spec / max speed when using with pedal assist, so OK for 'offroad use'.

karoq 2020 tsi oil
Skoda/ VW Group main dealers have used QUANTUM or Castrol oil for many many years now, & commonly it has been QUANTUM. There has been a change recently, but really it is a non story. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/476057-vag-independent-uses-fusch-oils

extinction of performance diesels
I had a V8 4.6 110 Land Rover that ran on LPG and did not have a petrol tank and could do 800 miles. The LPG was half the price of petrol at filling stations & cheaper elsewhere, but then the tanks were huge.

New Kodiaq on order since March, anyone care to guess when it'll be built?
Tow bars can be fitted to carry bike racks but there is no way that a vehicle that the manufacture does not homologate to tow can legally tow on public roads in the EU / Europe.

Oiling tyre sidwalls
Surely it is what the Tyre Fitter brushed on the new tyres to fit them onto the rims. Soap Paste. ? Why would anyone put Tyre Dressing on new tyres? If it is 'tyre dressing' as applied by 'Kerb side motors' type places to Joey up a car then they are muppets IMO.

Kamiq automatic gearbox problems at Hendy Skoda Bournemouth
PS At Skoda / VW UK there are Call Handlers, Communications Managers a Resolution Manager, and all have zero technical knowledge of vehicles and especially Skoda /VW Group Vehicles. That is why they got the job. Among the Managers it is as though their computer and brain are cleared daily as 'they have never heard of similar issues' even ones that are common and have gone on for years. So the car has a warranty and if the Dealership that supplied it and the company that imported it do not want to act like part of the biggest manufacturer of cars in the world that dropped 'Das Auto' and went for 'Honesty and building the trust of customers', you need to go to the CAB to get advice and from there start to take legal action. If a member of the RAC they help, as it is there is Skoda Assist so the owner can call Skoda Assist telling them that they do not feel safe driving the car and a AA responder might well check for fault codes and can arrange the car to be taken to a Franchised Dealer / Authorised repairer and the provision of a Courtesy /Hire car. Maybe a like for like 1.0TSI DSG that does not have issues if in N before being put into P.

Kamiq automatic gearbox problems at Hendy Skoda Bournemouth
Try another Franchised Skoda Dealership. Also another Skoda UK Customer Services communications manager. Reason being Skoda UK are the Importer, the car is under warranty with Skoda, and faulty so not fit for purpose. If Skoda UK do not want to arrange a competent Mechanical Engineer / Master Technician to diagnose the fault that another Dealership might just have such a person. You are not tied to using HENDY SKODA BOURNEMOUTH. The reason given for the fault is just the usual one, 'Driver error'. The car should be able to be in 'N' at any time the car is stopped and not act up when the driver eventually decides to stop the car having parked it.

Fabia on PCP - Service at dealers?
@ncd The dealership employee or the website is quoting you £169 is going by the price of 'Interim services' that were the Fixed Price ones at participating dealers. Old websites and prices that changed at the start of 2020 had £169 & £289 services. Minor / Interim & Major Services. 'Oil & Filter services for a while were £99. £184 now for an 'Oil & Inspection Service' which is what the Warranty Requires but then that can be at 24 months / 18,000 miles-20,000 miles as the car left the factory with Long Life Oil and set for Variable Servicing. You pay for the parts required, like the Pollen Filter if being changed. What is yours on Variable or was it reset to Fixed Servicing @ 9,400 miles / 372 days? The Extended Scope is now recommended at 3 years, so that extra £59. Then the £60 Brake Fluid Change if you want.

gearbox issue
@mrk2000 Just be aware that Main Dealers Techs with all the gear can still be near clueless. @Sittingbull's DSG was a 'inbetweeny', Between '34F7' & '34H5', as in got neither and had the Flashing White spanner then it ended up at Parks Skoda Hamilton and this sorry tale resulted. Main Dealers wrongly are named Main Stealers, in their case it was error on the car and error after error with their employees. Comedy of errors that cost him rather too much. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/444617-7sp-dq200-dsg-failure
