Headlight / Main Beam Indicator Wiring Diagram Online?
Hmm, I guess it must be because M31 is always on when headlights are on, but becomes full beam when that magnet is energised and moves stuff? Nasty looking arrangement; not one I've seen. Do the aftermarket replacement lights have same gubbins?

Goodbye, and I loved my vRS :)

Roomster Scout 1.9TDi with issues
Just for the sake of others who may be reading. Circuits for any Skoda are accessible to anyone, downloadable from erWin skoda for a small fee. Less than a tenner. Found via Individual vehicle info tab, Repair information. I'm quite worried about your health just now, with the described nutritional input.

Good work. Yes, probably just needs its exhaust clearing out with some hot stuff 🔥. I presume you're not thinking of new genuine for the vac box, price had me gasping? Let me know in due course if you need a window motor repair.

Cam sensor also on fuse 28.

Roomster Scout 1.9TDi with issues
Fuses 11, 51 and 52 for windows. Have they worked at all since buying? Starting with closed and locked car, try turning and holding key turned fully clockwise in driver's door lock. See if anything other than unlocking happens after a few seconds.

Wondered if that be what you found.

Fuse 28 ( a 10 amp one) looks like your prime suspect, was just about to write about the fact that those blue/black wires come from that fuse. May not be live unless engine running though, it's fed via fuel pump engine ECU relay. Check by substitution with a fresh one ideally, and look out for corrosion or looseness of fusebox contacts.

Current part number for vac box for your VIN is 6Q0906625G, which skoda-parts suggests is the only definite equivalent for suffix-C Magnetic Valve Block Å koda 6Q0906625G (skoda-parts.com) Grey part numbers below main title. Wouldn't necessarily assume that's the issue though. Delving into circuits shortly.

I reported it. Viewing on phone, so apparent link may not have looked same to you, it was the word slippers, underlined and in different colour. I am not at my most patient this morning.

Haunted Roomster
I used a Gendan-branded cable that's about £20 delivered. Cheaper versions definitely can be had but aren't likely to have any support if problems are met with. They used to be blue, but pretty sure this is same one. Also pretty confident it'll work with Roomster built before March 2010, despite what might be shown here. https://m.gendan.co.uk/product_VAGUSB.html Won't do autoscan without registering the software, but can scan individual modules and do most things that the more expensive full VCDS cables can. See here for table http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Functions

Why cheeky? Seems like a fact, given away by a link that I'm not clicking?

Roomster Scout 1.9TDi with issues
Does look quite likely to be a dodgy wire. Will look at circuits after lunch. Full part numbers of original and current vac boxes may be useful info, as might VIN, which you could PM through. What you've called anti-shudder is the V157 with two reported issues, so check wiring/connections at and near that if you haven't already, but I expect you have. Never had any probs with supermarket fuel personally. Diesels with functioning EGR just make lots of particulates whatever fuel is used (but less NOx); that's why DPFs were introduced.

Dipped beam dashboard light
Probably never fitted. Our 2005 Fabia has one on cluster, green with dipped beams depicted. Kinda nice to have but not a common fitment I think.

What is the problem in sudden drops of RPM with EPC randomly going off and on and the engine icon flashing?
If the fuel filter is one that you've replaced, check that the pressure regulator part of it is the correct rating, visible on rearmost end of its alloy can under driver's side sill, near rear tyre. ECP has been known to mislead folks here. Phone camera can probably get a pic even if you can't get your head in right spot easily. Also check that brake lights are all working. And check brake servo hose.

Haunted Roomster
Was going to be my next question if you found what I thought you might. Probably got a little bypass relay thing somewhere in the boot area which has been miswired or just scruffily (shortily?) wired. If you find such a thing, look for stray wire strands, or just rip it out and tape up all loose wires for now. Sad thing is, I believe a 2007 Roomy may well be perfectly happy with towbar wiring directly fed from the existing bulb wires without such a relay thing. Will check this out for you later, but I think factory towbar wiring just parallels off. There's a cute 10-second coding job you can do with VCDS (lite) to tell the 'vehicle voltage control unit' there's a towbar socket wired in, after which you'll get an extra visual indication on the dash when connected and indicating (this legally substitutes for the beep function of the bypass relay things). 7-pin or 13-pin towbar socket? I imagine it's a 7. Glowplug light may well be a result of same issue. Don't panic. 🙂

Can't find factory OEM tires?
I think you will struggle on that mission unless you can trace the first owner and they have a good memory. That exact tyre is extremely unlikely to be amongst its manufacturer's current products too. Your location will have some bearing on what is a good current alternative.

Space Saver Spare Wheel Securing Mount Bolt
Hmm, seems to be 3 different ones listed, all with claimed compatibility to space saver, maybe any of them will work? Try ordering one from your local dealership and see if they're willing to swap it for one of the others if wrong? Cheaper than that mail-order one, I think, if dealership isn't out of your way.
