Recallibrate the stop points on the drivers window by holding the button down for five seconds after it stops, and then the same for the up position. Should sort out the one touch up and down. Gaz

Should add the GTI and the vRS before it were both bought new, and did it from day one. Does it sound a bit like one of the old centrifugal starter motors, where they'd continue to spin for a second or two? It comes up from time to time, e.g.: G

What you're describing sounds very reminiscent of the noise the EA888's make as they build oil pressure on startup. My GTI does it, as did my 220 vRS before it (Both EA888 G3's). Mrs Gaz's Polo GTI (1.8TSI) also does it. Gaz

My brain hurts 😐 I've read stuff online, I've watched YT and I still don't know. I'm trying to connect a Hitachi VCR to my Sony Bravia KD-49XF9005 TV. I've seen one video of someone doing it with a coax aerial lead. I've joined the VCR to the TV with Coax, but I can't work out for the life of me how to tell the telly to look at the Coax input plug 🙄 I've seen that I can go from scart (VCR) to an HDMI adapter and then from that to an HDMI input on the TV. I've also read this won't work due to format issues. My 2015 vRS 2.0 TSI ran on Momentum 99 pretty much exclusively. I've read lots of people saying they don't notice a difference if they run on 95. While my vRS certainly ran okay on 95, I certainly felt it ran better on 99, particularly when giving it the beans. Gaz
