For all people are interested to buy for a navigator unit:

if you are able to spend more I suggest to take navi with surely assistance and better quality, even if you need to wait for more time. Witson doesn't give full assistance.

But if you are lucky you can take the risk.

Just to add to the mix Zenec now do a Skoda Octavia II specific reciever. Sadly no GPS and cant find a UK seller. Have emailed them for more details - uk suppliers.

That lower left button has nav written on it, so maybe... Plus they say it's identical in features to Zenec - Touch another World : ZE-MC292 which has nav.

Looks like a better deal than the Witson, I wonder what the price is, and if it does maxidot.

There is also a video of the VW vesion in use, looks quiet impressive. It also looks like you can add an external nav module, even the skoda version has a nav button.

The ZE-MC5600 is a double din moniceiver head unit without intergrated GPS Navi but just like the VW unit ( ZE-MC2000) you can use the ZE-NA2000 navigation upgrade box which can be externally plugged in to the unit to allow it have navigation.

The ZE-MC5600 has not reached us in the UK yet and it is part we should have in stock very soon.

Out of all the units what one or ones just work strait out the box with only having to install the sat receiver aerial, do you have to connect the receiver to the abs system like in the smaller blaupunkt unit

£300 for an MFD2 should be a price you could get - looking at past and present EBay auctions that seems a good price.

£650 for an RNS510 maybe pushing things a little - £700 - £850 seems to be the going rate.

Now I don't know the guy, I can't say one way or another but for brand new that seems extremely low.

My wife's brother lives and works in Prague and we spoke to him about buying brand new.

What with the exchange rates and prices out there I thought I might be on a winner and might even have been able to get some for other people too.

I was still looking at silly money for a brand new one - a lot more than £725.

I would say what this guy is probably selling are refurb units which many people will confirm are just fine.

That price seems far too low for brand new - at that price I'm tempted to buy a load of them as I know I'd be able to make £100 - £200 on each one that I resold.

i can't install the igo software. I tried multiple procedures but all i get is database error when booting up the software. Maybe some one can provide me a copy of a working igo sd card.

And i can't get vision on my dvd, but is is a problem with the handbrake cable. But the handbrake cable where do i have to connect him?

IGO, I can't help with, but the cable to the handbrake switch can just go to ground / earth for the dvd issue. If it's a legit copy of IGO (and I am not suggesting it is not) then maybe IGO's support can help?

About gps what's kind of problems given you exactly?

Have a look at your sys.txt file and remove the following

[folders]

app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

and then save the file and try again

If that does not work then it's possible that you have some problems with the data.zip file if you have opened it to change any entries.

Hi guys ! Recently I installed the Witson D782S on my car, but I can't view movies or Tv unless the engine is running and the hand brake is engaged. If I turn off the engine or I release the hand brake, the display is changing automatically to GPS. I tryed to connect the pink wire wich is labelled "SPEED" to the ground, but nothing changed...

Could somebody help me please?

Have to find "handbrake" cable, and to connect it to ground. It is red colored as I can remember well.

There is no red coloured cable free. It is one red cable but is connected to that big connector...
