 I just remembered the last time I was on Anglesey... I was five years old and got SEVERE food poisoning from a dodgy cumberland sausage, and was was rushed to hopsital in an ambulance... Let's hope I don't repeat the exercise this time, and if I do get rushed to hospital in an ambulance I DAMN well hope its not due to an excursion in my car. :D

Bad morning :D

Accom needed for Saturday. If anyone has suggestions as to where is good/cheap (in that order), please let us know :o)

Anyone thought of heading up Friday? Could get proper lashed up that night then... :dtp: Actually, come to think of it, a Saturday morning drive would be better after a good night's kip, than a knackered 5 hour journey after work...

Drive on saturday is under debate...not sure I want to do it with 4 wheels and trolley jack in the boot...might be a late night loop of somewhere for those staying over...you need fuel you know ;)

Depends how early we can check in to wherever we're staying. I won't be going on a drive out, and in its stripped out state, my car will have plenty of storage for other peep's cr4p! (minus my four wheels & trolley jack as well ;))

If i remember correctly, the camp facilities at anglesey are very good.

Might be worth thinking about.... then again it is late november!

I've just rung the circuit up.

Anyone who wishes to camp there on either the friday and / or saturday night will be most welcome to. The only stipulation is that we MUST let them know in advance, tel. 01407 840253. I would say that we should gather a list on here of DEFINATES asap, and then ring. I'll ring them if you like.

Facilities are excellent considering that this is not a caravan / camping site.

New bar serving hot grub and lashings of beer etc...however I assume that number of people staying on site would determine if they open it or not.

Excellent newish toilet block with H & C water, outside tap for filling water containers, and a shower block about 3 mins walk at the back of the circuit.Think that is locked up at something like 8:00pm, will check later.

NO electric hook ups to my knowledge.

Hard and grass standings for your tent/caravan.

Do I feel a caravan meet comin' on too :P for us caravanners?

I have stayed on site with our shed on wheels many times, and I tell you, you won't find a better view in the morning on any camp site! The backdrop is truly magnificent!

The weather can be unpredictable at any time of the year. It will either be magnificent or bloody horrid! Can get quite windy, but when the sun comes out.....!

Charge for staying......................NOTHING..FOC! :D

I could be persuaded to go camping but the weather would have to be pretty decent to convince me - plus I get ratty when I don't get good sleep, so camping may be a bad idea for me on that part. However, if a

You BIG wuss Jason. You a man or a chavvy mouse? :mouse:

Think the possibilities for a bbq and bunfight are enormous! Stuff the weather,we can still have a laugh, and don't forget if there's enough of us they'll more than likely open the bar I should think!

Or alternativley...mmm...30 Briskodians in my caravan! :D

Possibly have to open a new 'camping' thread for this idea if enough interest shown.

Any chance of a mod transferring my previous post into a new thread?

30!!!? what you trying to organise here? :naughty:

But seriously I guess if the weather's bad it doesn't really matter as we'll be out in it Sunday. :D Plus my tent has seen off some serious storms so I'm not worried like that. And if the circuit's bar is open then I'm there! :dtp:

Yep - and if you can obtain a helmet I believe that passenger rides aren't out the question ;) Would need to clarify that with track peeps though. :) Don't take my word as being full & final. ;)
