Briskoda National Trackday 2

Depends if your Dad's driving. ;) I've had a ride in a DIY "bit of a shed" MI-16 conversion so I'd like to get an experience of one done properly - I assume you have done of course, no doubt! ;)

it's not my dad u need to worry, it's ric's dad that is the one to watch ;)

Our MI-16 is a totally stripped out track weapon (no luxuries in this car).

All the joking aside, we where on track a few weeks ago and where playing around with westfiled megabusa's and lotus exiges, this 205 definatelly is a serious toy!

Sorry - I assumed you had the same father :o I'll look forward to it then. :D

Obvious I suppose...but DON'T forget to take your driving licence's everyone. No licence, no run.

Sadly I notice that Bookatrac won't allow passengers under 16 yrs of age.

Bit daft as Track Action will!

C.J. jnr is NOT going to be pleased at all

For anyone who's not been before, I can strongly recommend the tuition/familiarisation session. Think it's

An alternative is to take a ride with you Colin ;)

CJ, check the dates of your booking matey...odd about the age thing, maybe call them, web text could be out of date.

Well' date=' as much as I like the look of DS2500 pads, the appeal of seeing them on my lounge coffee table for the last [b']three months[/b] is wearing a bit thin...

Better wear them thin once properly fitted on car :D

So GET THEM ON THE BLOODY CAR!! How hard can it be? Sheesh! Want me to come and do it?

Er - yes please for some accom...

devonutopia: just to clear up things, me and ric are cousins, not brothers (most people assume this though)

Col, got that info off the FAQ page...a must read for anyone who isn't sure what's what. Seems if you are late for the briefing, you will have to sit it out until lunch time too!

Will give them a ring to confirm the age restriction, but seem to think I had this 'discussion' with them at Oulton a couple of years ago.

I know that there was an age restriction at Brunters in April. Which track company where in charge of that one?

Wouldn't particulary recommend a tuition session with me. I'm still learning too!

The way I look at it is that it would be MY reponsibility to ensure maximum safety as is reasonably possible. I do appreciate that sometimes on a track day this can sometimes be out of your hands until the so called 'racing drivers' get hauled in and spoken to or worse.

I had to report such bad behaviour last Dec when a couple of Clio cup sport numptys decided to take the opportunity to have a private race of their own,and came within a whisker of punting me off at the chicane..and I had C.J. jnr on board!

Had 'words' with him,got aload of abuse so reported him to the gaffer!

Didn't see him or his chummy again.

So GET THEM ON THE BLOODY CAR!! How hard can it be? Sheesh! Want me to come and do it?

I will. Be patient and please don't lose any more hair on this issue :)

Thing is I need

a) new discs <=== in the process of being sorted

B) new calipers <= already sorted

c) green paint <== will be sorted

d) agree on fitting date with briskodian helper ;)

Ooh, and I'd probably want to change fluids too. Might as well I guess.

And then there's the zorst and the remap too.

Gosh, damn slippery slope ;)
