Is it because you want it to look good, no.

Err, has your "friend" got hold of this rear ARB yet (IIRC from a few weeks back)? What is he/she's opinion on, err, modding?

Forgot all about that, yes he/she has and boody good it is too, err so i've been told. I think he/she has an upper and lower strut brace too as I recall and one of those front ARB thingies.

I wish i could avoid the temptation to modify like yourself des but i just dont have the will power,its definately an expensive thing to do so you must be saving thousands ps could you ask your friend if his uprated front anti roll bar makes that annoying creaking noise like the standard ones do ?

The only noise I can hear is the bloody H&S zorst, err when i've ever driven it. BTW never stand behind it.

Just had a word with him, it was the front roll bar from VagParts and the rear one from IP/ABD.......so i'm informed.

If he is still with you, Des, could you ask him what he replaced them with?
