Looking for terms you would use to discover skoda resources on the net and which search engines you would use.

Embarking on a campaign to improve, I need to have your suggestions on what you would seach for...

Doing okay and this new layout + tweaks has resulted in a 160 point rise within google for the obvious skoda forum term. Now on page two instead of page 18.

So welcome any other phrases you might use. Thanks in advance.

Google is weird. Even if you use "briskoda" as a search term, the site doesn't come up on the first page.

Incidentally, did you know that there's a site called briskoda-media?

When I stumbled across the site in January last year, I was actually searching for the Skoda Owners Club - so probably used search terms like

"skoda owners"

"skoda enthusiasts"

How about just

"skoda"

Just to clairfy, if you were searching today, what would you search on, skoda forum, tuning octavia, fabia vrs reviews etc etc...after a wider spectrum of thoughts

Also the search engines you may use....I fall down on thisas I only ever use google, but thats me being lazy.

Maybe a list would make Colins life a bit easier?

It's us If you look at the Disclaimer / Privacy Statement you'll see which domains are associated with Briskoda.

I used Yahoo Uk&Ireland (typed in Skoda Forums ) because I was looking for a UK based Skoda BB. I believe Briskoda was the first one on the search engine list. If you use Google I don't think its even on the first page.

I only ever use Google for a search engine. Me though found Brisky from The Bouncing Czech.

Google for me too, with 'Skoda Forum'.

Got to find an alternative to Google tho', as I'm fed up of loads of links to Pricerunner, Kelkoo etc. always being at the top of the results list.

"skoda tuning" in my case IIRC on Google (the one and only worthwhile search engine, despite all the imitators) Feb 2003. And I don't think I've seen this "bouncing Czech" site yet ... what is it?
