Best Fabia vRS Engine.

Featured Replies

Good evening viewers :)

Big Vern is in need of a new getaway vee-hickle, and he wants something nippy, but not a gas-guzzler, so the Fabia vRS seems to fit the bill.

Could anyone out there tell me what's the best engine for this ickle beastie, and if it's worth running it on Optimax.

Yours sarcastically,

Paddy. :)

Evening Paddy,

Could you please tell Vern that the Fabia vRS is definitely the car to meet his nefarious needs. Please inform him that it will run exceptionally well on Optimax, especially if he replaces the battery with Duracells first.

With kind regards..

Thats where I go wrong then! I'm using rechargables!!

Paddy , I reckon that Optimax will make one hell of a difference to a Fabia vRS ................ :D

Yep, I've heard that optimax makes the engine on Fabia vRS virtually silent.

Vern tells me he always uses Optimax in his "work" cars..

A litre or 2 sloshed around the interior hides any incriminating fingerprints, but apparently it burns much better than 95 RON :D

96 , 97 , 98 or 99 Rons will definately burn longer than only 95 Rons ...............Where does Vern find all these blokes called Ron from ... ?....

Apparently he met him on a monday and his heart stood still..

Da doo Ron Ron Ron, da do Ron Ron..

But , somebody told me that his name was Bill ..................was is it you Ron, Ron ...........was it you Ron, Ron ............. :D

if it's worth running it on Optimax.

But which is the best DV to use?

thanks for all the info guys just one more question which tuner is best for a chip/remap :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

How come you all claim to have over 215 bhp when i have been told off my best mate dave from A.N.other tuning company that the engine will not go above this figure and is causing damage.... do you want to explode your turbochargers?

Use pure Red Diesel if you want to get the most power, as confirmed on seatcupra.net when someone RR'd his Cupra 150 TDi with normal diesel and got 158bhp and red diesel and got 168 bhp :) The problem is getting some!

i have a 1000 gallon tank full of the stuff :D

Re the Optimax - tried some in the SDI, 1 part optimax in 10 parts diesel mix - woah, rocket fuel :D ***

*** = it does work but I accept absolutely no liability if you are stupid enough to copy this test!

You ****ing nutter

Cheaper than octane booster :D

not as stupid as one would think it actually cleans the injectors and helps decoke the engine

Put weed killer in a Lada once by mistake and we had to cut the fuel lines to stop it :D

Moral of the story was don't store weed killer and petrol in old five litre tins.

indeed, but put too much petrol in and you'll bugger up the fuel pump, IIRC it dries out and seizes.

Used to be the norm for winter fill ups, to stop the fuel waxing
