What did you do to your Skoda today?

Lots!

Painted the exhaust tips gloss black, and gave it a damn good wash, ready for the national meet tomorrow :)

Exhaust probably isn't for everyone but I like it.

did you take them off to paint ?

Stripped, cleaned and painted.

Yes I did remove them. Only some torx screws but getting to some of them were difficult!

washed and waxed it for the national tomorrow

Replaced the discs and pads on the Citigo. No more warped discs. :)

The Octy got a wash, clay and polish. It started peeing down so the wax will have to wait.

Find the cause of your warped discs?

In our case, I reckon it was due to the discs being worn to the limit. They were down to 18mm.

The minimum is 19.

Pads 2/3 worn.

About right for 25,000 miles I guess

Today? Grazed it slightly :(

Airport parking 1 - Yeti 0.

Had a slight altercation with a bollard whilst attempting (unsuccessfully) to exit a rather tight carpark exit :(

So if you see me at the National tomorrow, it'll be the Yeti with the battle-scarred marks to the offside front bumper!

Got any pictures so we can marvel at your fine work :)

Ragged the @rse off it round Rockingham. :)

Part ex'd the Yeti for a Ford Galaxy :-)

Took it to Rockingham!

250 miles covered (by no means the furthest), at an average of 57mpg! Haha.

Thrashed it at Rockingham and punctured a tyre in the process.

Think I'm going to be sick :`/

Picture of said puncture now I've got the laptop:

where they under inflated ? or did you scrub something ?

Looks like it was down to the cords anyway mate.

After the banked bit where you come down off the banking and take that tight left hander I overcooked it a little and drifted out onto the kerb, front wheel drifted onto the kerb but back drifted behind the kerb and rolled onto it but thing is there's a big hole there so it dropped down the hole and whacked the kerb instead of just rolling into it. And yes, Rockingham are going to be getting an E-mail about this. It held air though. I did a couple of laps on it and a cool down lap, parked it up to get my photo disk and went back the the campsite before I noticed it. Then I only noticed it because I was feeling it to see if it was still legal or not and it felt soft.

Never noticed that  until looking at the photo just now. Might just be something stuck to the tyre as it looks to have at least half a mill of tread on that section the rest of the way round. But it doesn't matter now anyway.

Got to say though, I like how it happened right on the safety warning.  :D

Gave it a polish and removed all of the sticky residue from the many stickers I removed.

It isn't as bad as it looks in the photo. I might get a little touch up kit and paint over it. The alloys weren't in perfect condition to start with, they had a couple of chips about this size already. It's more the fact that I now have to go tyre shopping in the morning that bothers me.

Had a look at it today when I took it to the garage and it wasn't down to the cords, you could just see the tread pattern on the outside strip with some more across the rest of the tyre.

Got a pair of Avons at my local for £150. The same tyres would have cost £112 but I wouldn't have been able to get them before the 25th but I'm busy then so it would have been next month by the time I could get them fitted and I didn't fancy running on odd wheels for any longer than necessary. Definitely worth getting them off there though when I'm replacing the other 2 so thanks for the link.

See, just a little scuff.
