Took the Fabia to the Mitchells for its third service, I also test drove a 1.2 Yeti but I think the Fabia is safe..

Fixed split boost hose, fitted new alloys and gave it a wash

 

 

Took it to see the Lego movie with my cousin. Great film.

Also parked next to an inferior car (sorry Bossfox, but you know it's true)

I dropped the gearbox out of the the fun truck today, was hoping to get the new clutch in and get it back together but I got distracted and ended up mooching around tesco instead.

****ed up laquering part of the bumper I've been working on. Rubbed it back and started to primer part of it again.

Yesterday, brought my new one   Today, washed and hoovered SWMBO's, checked the oil, fluids, re-fuelled ready for the week and did the tyre pressures.

Drove my mk1 octy vrs from Nottingham to Rhyl, not a major trip by any means! But for the entire trip it performed faultlessly! And managed a 39mpg average from steady driving and a few quick pulls upto the national speed! Return trip back to nottingham tomorrow morning. Particulary looking forward to going back through the little tunnel in stoke, massive smile from the exhaust note in there! (Missus thinks im a freak?)

Did a lot of washing and drying. After fitting my 2013 skoda badges... Make such a difference!

Been thinking of getting a set for SWMBO's Yeti.

Drove to Heathrow and back yesterday, vRS performed very well and averaged 53.5mpg (calculated) over 469miles

Pah, drove to Brands and back (494 miles) and got 50.1 in a 3.0 V6

Edit - and I've still got 100 miles in the tank...
