You won't be when it needs new tyres. :o Or brakes. :o

Makes a VRS look like an absolute bargain for ability vs cost.

Probably not no, but if you have the money, you only live once so why not enjoy it!

Oh, that's very nice

Try not to use the launch control, are Nissan still being silly over that?

WOW! Richard I tip my hat to you. :o

That's properly cool B)

... I approve of this decision! :)

Lovely!

is the fabia staying????

and what on earth do you do for a job lol, lucky lucky man

Yes, I can't part with it.

It's worth more to me than it's ever likely to make and I'd miss it. I still love driving it.

Plus I'll need it when the novelty of 18mpg and GTR running costs has worn off.

This has just had a stage 1 engine tweak (550ish bhp) and the MY11 gearbox upgrade.

So should be fine.

On the MY09 and MY10 there was no official launch control (as you probably know) but on the MY11 there is.

hasn't Jason got LCR Brembos and Ultraleggeras on his Fabia, without spacers? might be worth a PM? although they might be Superleggeras(?)

Just seen this. I needed 3mm spacers to clear sadly. :( However I can't tell they are there and its worth it for running such light wheels.

Cheers Jason.

I've got my eye on the TT rims you directed me towards for now and Jabbasport are sending me a Team Dynamics Pro Race (can't remember which) rim down to trial so I can order a custom offset.

Wow... Can I drive over and go for a spin? I'd love to go in a GTR...

Nice one man.

Wow... Can I drive over and go for a spin?

Literally? ;)

Been a passenger in a GTR. Was the kind of fast which you totally don't really feel. Just smooth and flies!

Richard - If it helps, I ran TD Pro Race 1 (I think now discontinued) with ET25 offset and they fitted fine without spacers, cleared Brembos by miles (about 8mm to 10mm) but also didn't stick out too far. Was a good comprimise and wish I'd never sold them. Should have just got them painted black or something....

So you allready have a Yeti, MKI Fabia vRS, MKII Fabia estate, Range Rover (to replace the LR90)...and now a GTR!!!

I think it quite funny that someone who must have a good bank (or loan) or job puts a sensiable hat on and runs relativly cheaper cars for day to day with an occassional fun car for off days!....unlike where I am they all like to run on a daily basis huge big RR's or X5's or Volvos all with private plates and big alloys........and then I overtake them in winter because they can't be bothered to change the tyres (but it has 4x4!)....thick ##its!! :giggle:

P.S. allready seen 3 RR evoke's on the road here....and a big transporter full of them went past the other day......more thick ##its with small ##cks compensating.......wait till winter :giggle:

Your drive way is immense.

No Range Rover anymore. Sold it when the Yeti made it surplas to requirements as a practical family car.

But thanks for the comment, it makes sense to me. And running the Range Rover is about the same cost yearly as running three Skodas.

I used to drive a big car all the time, but it wasn't practical other than to try and be flash which isn't really me.

I much prefer my Greenline II Fabia for work, it's a great little car and perfectly suited to the job of commuting. (and visiting people who pay you)

Your drive way is immense.

I wish. :D That's the drive of the guy I bought the GTR from. One seriously loaded chap.

I meant your driveway consisted of Yeti, Fabia, Fabia SE & GTR!

+1 A liitle write up in the review section would make for a good read?

I always thought I'd be jealous if I knew someone had a Nissan GTR....

.........and I was right :(

Flash bar steward B)

That's really nice Richard. I'm impressed -

So here it is... drove it home from work today. (it arrived at 2pm)

Have to say it's quite interesting.

Clearly an absolute beast, but you arrive at corners doing what you feel is a sensible speed and then whip round them only to find you were going much faster than you expected and all the others cars with you have disappeared.

It's so capable it doesn't have the same "raw" feeling as the VRS. It's a whole different experience.

It needs to see a track to appreciate 10% of what it can actually do as you just can't stretch it much on the public road.

Wow. Just wow. I personally think the GTR is the greatest car made today, it is unbelievable! Enjoy!

Clearly an absolute beast

I'm just waiting to see how long it will be before you take the mod stick to it! :giggle:
