Any footage of it coming off?? Am gutted for ya, generally one of the most indestructible action cameras on the market too! Will your home insurance cover it??

No it was on my rear hugged facing out just for something different and it's last moment just show it flicking up but still seemingly attached! Very surprised the memory card survived, properly mangled! It didn't even give me the laugh if seeing a car killing it! Would love to buy a new one but just don't have the money!!!! Booooo

Could be off to Wigan on Saturday. And riding a 125 back to Bristol.

WTF am I thinking. I'll be at retirement age before I get home.

If you have the time, I would head cross country and avoid the motorways, you could cross Derbyshire and the Peak District to get onto the Fosse Way.

TBH will only take longer as you will be stopping to enjoy the views..

Definitely worth checking on home insurance if you have contents cover. Essentially a camcorder and those are covered on most away from the address.

The motorway is tiresome on a 125.

Id be tempted to go cross country too. It depends how much more time is involved.

We do have some nice roads here in the Peak District :).

Sod that then, I wouldn't bother. You could venture towards a top of the range Drift next to make it worth your while should something go wrong :P

No 125 this week, been in touch with the guy and he is away until

next Thursday. Maybe the weekend after next if he still has it.

My go pro fell off today and got run over by a car........…

Gutted doesn't even cover it! So smashed up it's not even funny, wish I hadn't found it on the road now

:( oh no! How was it attached and what to?!

Edit: I should have read the replies! How was it attached though?

Do us a favour lads, report item 181514607188 on ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181514607188?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2661&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

That item was sold to me for £10, and the seller said it was sold elsewhere and I hadn't won it.

There was no mention of it being for sale elsewhere, or I wouldn't have bid.

(This trick is becoming widespread on ebay as a way of ducking out of the deal if the winning bid isn't high enough)

I've had it on watch for over a week, so he would have known there may well have been a bid for it.

And I bid 4 hours before auction end (which was at 3.41pm) so there was ample time to cancel my bid

and withdraw the item.

Then he contacts me hours later saying the BS 'sale' had fallen through and he'd relisted for £40 if I was still interested.

Just trying to wriggle out of a low bid. Check his history, he's listed the one he's sold to me as paid for and dispatched

when that simply isn't true... Better still bid it up to stupid money, little fvcker. The barely literate messages he's sent

me are bad enough, I can't stand people with no honour.

Looking at his completed items he's listed that armour before at £10 and had no interest, soon as he got a nibble he raised the price. What a ******.

It's was on using to proper go pro mounts it's vibrated out of the mount some how which is most irritating,

I've just sent him a message asking if it has sold or not as I was watching it the other day! Hopefully it'll waste his time replying! And he'll probably incriminate himself with another lie

I was watching it the week before and missed the auction end and it

went unsold. Relisted a day later, nothing unusual there.

I watched it a second time and got a notification on my phone it was ending soon and placed

a bid. Admittedly it was just a bid for a tenner, but the auction ended at 3.41pm so not a busy

time on ebay. Then I had to go and do some work for a few hours. When I returned home my

phone started notifying like crazy, first with a 'you have won this item pay now' message then a

ebay PM saying

 Dear grr666

I tried to end this item because it was sold else where so I'm sorry for any inconvenience but you have not won

My reply...

Dear ashley2918,

Ashley,
This looks to me more like a refusal to sell for an opening bid rather than
anything else. I've encountered sellers who pull this stunt before.
Let me guess, it was also on sale elsewhere. I missed this item last week and
have had it on watch for a week so you knew there was an interested party via ebay
With all due respect you had ample time to remove my bid and end the listing
before it was due to finish and you didn't. The bid wasn't made last minute and you
had several hours to attend to this. I'm afraid that makes it your problem and not mine.
If you wanted more than a tenner for it you should have started the auction at a higher price.
Again not my problem, now I have a pay now notification that I can't remove without paying
you for an item which you listed falsely. That is my problem and I'd like you to see to it that
it is removed. I should have known not to bid with a seller with such low feedback.
Please attend to this matter

regards

A few hours later the little germ replies with this, having marked item as paid for and dispatched.

Dear grr666

The buyer hasn't paid and iv put it back on for 40 pound if u are interested as I said sorry

Whaddya know his 'sale' fell through so he has relisted. How very convenient, no thought to then let it

go to me for the price I won it for fair and square (as if his 'sale' was genuine anyway).

It annoys me when sellers have no honour, I've also made a similar request on the

other forum I use so hopefully he'll be bombarded by abuse and queries as those boys over

there don't play :D

Tell him youll have it for the tenner you won it for, or he can just keep relisting it like he has been doin

Did you get some little white tab things with yours? I know it's a bit late now but they're to stop that happening.

Just got a reply apparently you didn't want it!!!

No some one else mentioned these but I haven't seen them

Hahaha. What a weapon this guy is.

Edit: offer him a tenner. Cos that was the winning bid ;)

Not at his new price of £40 no. Well that just confirms he is a liar and a cheat.

I've left negative feedback which has knocked him down to 90% which is hopefully enough

to scupper his chances of selling it for 4 times the price I won it for fair and square.

I wouldn't normally spread around fatal videos, but this one was expressively released by the bereaved family.

Shocking to watch :(

Just watched that!! Good video if that makes sense??

I can't help watching thinking "junction back off slow down make sure they've seen you"

Hopefully it'll save at least one life

In GB terms it's unusual to see graphic footage like this, in other countries where this sort of incident is played out for a campaign videos, it's more normal to see. I would also describe it also as a 'good video', as it is. Should the footage of the collision on it's own somehow made it's way onto the internet and sick morbid scum bags all started sharing it, my feelings would be quite the opposite.

We have prob all been in the exact same situation with a car pulling out or turning in in front of us, just not necessarily at the same speed and not many bikers who don't know someone who has been killed or horrifically injured in such an incident. It's always good to be reminded to be on your toes and expect the unexpected.
