thanks i just took a look on your profile they do look really good :)

Yep, same as mine aswell, i had trouble fitting mine, snapped one got for another set for free from the seller, ive also bought a set from them for an astra and new punto, both for friends.

Everyones happy with them and everyone fitted them fine apart from me, so i was probly doing it wrong  but saying that the replacment set they sent me fitted no bother :)

ye they do look reali nice im going to buy a hid kit for mine

I'm sure these are the ones I have aswell, team heko ones. They're good quality but a bit of a sod to fit!

I have these on mine, great product. But like the others have said, they are a sod to fit...

i ordered some last night from the same seller they look ok

Team heiko ones are good. . There alover the place, easy to fit,but also easy to swipe. . As some lil swines nicked all mine and left the clips in. . .nearly everyone i know has had a set nicked :-(

The Heko ones are the best ones - I use to do group buys for them direct from Poland for the Polo boys on Club Polo. I'be got them on all of my cars inc my fabia

thanks everyone for the comments i think ill order a set up! :)

Just remember what people have said about the difficulties fitting them.

Iirc they said fit it at the wing mirror side first then bend/slot the other side in and push up.

I found it easier pushing it up into the back of the door an then pushing upwards and into the wing mirror side last. If you get stuck i can take some pictures.

ahh ok thanks! so using a hammer wont help me on this one then? :giggle:

As said, i managed to snap one of mine. It only really chipped the corner and was still usable but didnt feel happy with it.

I messaged that exact seller and told him what had happend, i didnt blame him at all just asked if i could buy a single one rather than another full front set. The reply i got went somthing like "Im sorry to hear about that but unfortunately we don't sell individual wind deflectors, only pairs. As you are a valued customer we will send you another set for free"

So excellent customer service from them!

Oh and i got the set of four not just the front ones, rear ones take two seconds to fit, but another word of warning is to avoid using the metal clips on any of the windows that are tinted as i can scrape the tint off.

hmm thats not good! do they still stay in correctly without the metal clips

Yep, The rears come with 2 or 3 bits of double sided tape on them, but its very strong. Just take the tape off, fit them and leave the window up tight for about 24 hours.

on the front since i use the windows up and down all the time i fitted 2 of the metal clips provided just to be sure, but honestly dont think they're needed. You will understand yourself when your fitting them how much of a tight fit they are and how good the tape is. Mine have never moved once.

I ordered mine from a seller on ebay from germany and it only colt me about £30 for the set of 4. and all 4 came fitted with double sided sticky. fitted them all with no metal clips in about 10 mins and left windows up for about 24 hours just as hutchy did. and there rock solid. can really recommend the seller to, as mine arrived with one rear deflector broken( where the box had been stood on by the look of it!) and he sent a new set out next day totally free.

do you need tinted windows for the wind deflectors to look good?

anyone fitted some without tinted windows?

Can't say i'm a fan of them at all but it appears they have quite a following. Can i ask why you would require to deflect the wind?

So you can have the window open without the horrible noise and turbulent air in your face. As for tinted windows, since front tints are illegal I havent not seen any WITH tints tbh

So it's more pleasant when you open the windows :-)

Is it really that unpleasant?

It's not terribly bad, but the deflectors make a marked difference. Also when it's raining you can open the windows most the way without any coming in

Don't open the window when it rains??? ;)

And do what to cool down? (no air con)
