Gutted to see that mate, but it looks like it won't be long until it's back on the road.

Main thing is no one was hurt.

Thanks mate, yes i had to get on it quick otherwise i would of just given up, proper gets you down.

Should have it all back together this weekend.

Just need to sort a dash

Holy cockwomble!

Glad you're ok, gutting about the car but at least you can have it back together in no time.

Did you crash into the back of the Bently Hearse??

Im fine thanks mate, just got a bad back and neck.

It should be done this weekend hopefully.

I didn't haha That thing is a monster, my mate does the MOT for it, its a 6.something litre v12 rolls royce. Around £180k

That's heartbreaking mate. Glad you've got straight back on it though.

Where will you be relocating the side repeaters to?

Its nearly done now mate, just need to source a dash and a bumper.

I will be fastening them to the insides of the wings and just poke them out for the MOT

Glad you are okay - Shocked at the turn around speed you've fixed that at though!

Ha me too mate!

Glad you're ok.

How was this dealth with regarding insurance, did you just not make a claim for your vehicle? Bet they wouldn't believe how fast this has been fixed :D

I haven't claimed as they would just write it off, this way I can fix it properly and it remains hpi clear. I also don't like these crappy quick turn around insurance jobs. It would of just annoyed me and I would of had it done again anyway

It would, I doubt there would be room

Picked up the new bumper from Skoda £212, not too bad

DC8E0F43-B647-45EE-ABA4-99B9A312909E.jpg

Gave the new dash a good scrub down

The dash had been stored on its end, this side was flat

This end was bent in, so I boiled the kettle and heated it up

Much better

New bumper fitted, fits perfect, just need to chop the front out now and get the smoothed section out of the other one, also take the splitter off

What model is this gear knob off mate? I have a new gaiter to go on so thought about fitting a newer knob too

It's off an mk3 octavia, same as the steering wheel man. It's a bit nerve racking having one of these, as they fit badly and sit really high, so I had to drill up the centre of it with a drill but the same diameter as the gear stick so hat it would sit lower! Just a word of caution
