Solution is easy mate.... cut your fingernails REALLY short, then you can't feel the scratch LOL (says he who's totally 100% certifiable paranoid and does things like ksr too - not that I'm suggesting he's paranoid of course.....)

Not paranoid, no, well, maybe a wee bit...... but definitely obsessive / compulsive

(mind you, a lot of doctors have said I am paranoid, but they're lying - I know they're just all out to get me - part of the great conspiracy, you see :think: )

Apologies Liebel!

New car, new member so plenty to learn, ask and discover!

As things settle down and fixed, it goes quiet :-)

But sometimes I think best to start new thread , rather hide everything in here.

Don't worry I am still round...

Just a few updates (just for u Liebel :-) ...

1. Tonight the Columbus died on me - total loss of sound!

- its worked after I switched off the engine

- I think the system didn't reboot proper on start up

2. Test on oil cap seem to imply no leak

- its still dry around the cap, even though wet oil is on the engine cover

3. Just filled abt 4litres of washer, hope it lasts longer with headlamp washer disabled now

4. Got myself this now :-)

5. Still looking for winter wheels

6. Will ask extended warranty if cover things like worn wheel caps,

Lose screw hole in boot etc etc

7. One of these screw cover fell and lost :-(

Well 2 more NEW squeaks etc from Audrey :

1. Ocassionally u can clearly hear small squeaks whilst the wheel turns at slow speed (not braking)

2. 1st time sound like ventilation fan squealing - VERY annoying :-(

I think my Audrey actually beats my BMW 120d pFL for Squeaks, Rattles and Shake! :-(

Maybe as somesone said on the Audi vs Skoda thread - worth paying extra for Audi s felt/foams being put btw parts for more quieter ride ...

My Audrey being 2010 - the blue tooth does not work with APPLE products

and any non-compatible phones.

Does that also applies to the MEDIA input (iPhone + iPods)?

and with oil temp at 90% (normal) makes a difference - nope!

Power off / on - does nothing (brings back frozen screen with no music)

Ignition on/off - does nothing.

Wait - and thn power on, still nothing. :-(

Will wait til morning hopefully it will reset itself ...

Try performing a soft reset by simultaneously holding down the the left & right arrow buttons and microphone button until you see the screen go off.
